A memory from the past
I dislike I had to reorder and getting the refund thinking the address I had given for delivery was sufficient. But the product came undamaged and wrapped it as a gift.Very pleasant looking product. The USS Alabama was the 4th Battleship built under The South Dakota class along with the Massachusetts and Indiana. My friends father served on the ship during WWII in The Pacific. .

Perfect decoration for collectors!
Great model! Perfect size for a desktop decoration or collectors shelf! A few minor issues including bent primary and secondary guns and a few noticeable scratches. Comes just as it is in the picture, all you have to do is put it on the stand.

A Precious Piece of History
Oh my gracious, what a precious gift for my dear grandson! This USS Alabama 1944 ship model is just darling. My grandson was so thrilled to receive it and takes such good care of it by placing it on a high shelf in his bedroom, away from any rough and tumble hands.I must say, it is quite fragile though. We had a bit of a mishap with the first shipment, as it arrived damaged during transit. It was shipped in a simple paper envelope with little padding, which just wasn't enough to protect its delicate beauty. But my goodness, the customer service was top-notch and we were able to receive a replacement in no time. I do think it would be safer to ship these models with an outer cardboard box, to ensure its safe arrival to its new home.Overall, I am simply delighted with this model and my grandson couldn't be happier. It truly brings a touch of history and charm to his room. Y'all should consider adding this to your wishlist!

This sunk my battleship :(
I don't know much about battleships, but most of the pointy-up parts came bent or warped in some way. Also, who made these things?!? It's like someone raided the crappy gift shop of an abandoned WWII museum and scalped em on Amazon.
