Designer Skin, Black Noir, 22x Black Label Private Reserve, Tanning Lotion 13.5 Ounce

I purchased a packet of this lotion at a tanning salon and liked it. Its scent was reminiscent of Designer Skin's "Black," but seemed toned down, which I liked. So I ordered a bottle of the "Black Noir" from Amazon. The lotion seems to be more strongly scented than what was in the packet. It actually seems more like the older "Black." I could be mistaken, though, as I only tried one packet. I will say that with the lotion in the bottle I received, it is strongly scented. I like it, but it is too much of a good thing. And the scent gets on your clothes. I feel like I have to wash them right away to get the fragrance out.But other than that, this lotion is great! I use it by itself, without a tanning bed or sun, so I like that is has DHA. And its a great moisturizer too. I do not get orange hands fingers, as other reviewers wrote, but I wash my hands right away. Perhaps being in a tanning salon, they just try to wipe the lotion off their hands with a towel. I can see how that would be a problem and could result in unwanted stains.

Great product came brand new, but the only thing i have to say is if you don't clean clean in between your fingers you do turn orange! And the smell after the tanning is disgusting, you have to shower right away, and i have found while showering i feel greasy. This did give me great color and people really have noticed how much darker than i am vs. walmart brand tanning lotion. Worth the buy if you want a quick tan but not worth it if your looking for long term tanning. I bought this 2 weeks ago, and use it all over my body every other day, and running low already. Bought another brand this time so we will see how that one does!

I'm an avid tanner and always try the newest and latest Designer Skin lotions. I was excited to try the Black Noir. Unfortunately it hasn't really made that much difference in my skin color. It says its a bronzer but it hasn't really lived up to its name. The lotion is very silky, soft and the aroma is nice. I guess I was expecting a more noticeable bronzing color to my skin after just a few tanning sessions. I've used the entire bottle and still am not as tan /bronze as I've been in the past using other "black" bronzers from Designer Skin. My advice, pay a little more for their higher XXX bronzing lotions. Sorry - I'm not going to but this one again. Probably going back to Black 20x, Luminary or even Excess by Designer Skin.

My sister and I were tanning newbies and the girl at the salon suggested we buy this but at over 90 dollars a bottle at our salon we thought, "No way!"So of course we bought it on amazon where it is reasonably priced even though we heard enough warnings that we could be buying bad, expired lotion.But this lotion is perfect! Not expired at all! Smell great and goes on great! My favorite part about it is that it never leaves me greasy because of the silicone in the product. It goes on smooth, makes your skin incredibly soft, and works great in the tanning bed.It does leave a little after tan odor that isn't great but it isn't terrible. Plus most other lotions leave odors too.Not to mention the bottle in and of itself is a piece of art that looks wonderful on a shelf!

The product seems to work well, I did see a difference after about two sessions. I love that I got this product for about 60% off retail price! However, I don't like how strong the smell is after you tan. The Citrus smell of the lotion vanishes quickly. Oh, and be sure to wash your hands as soon as you can it turns you very orange. I used baby wipes right after tanning to try to get rid of the orange hands.

This tanning lotion has a pleasant smell and isn’t greasy. Over time I did notice my tan was better. It wasn’t my favorite, I like hot bronzers, but I would buy it again.

Love this lotion. Already used one bottle and just bought another last night. Much cheaper online than at the tanning salon. Smells good and goes on like silk rather than those cheap, thick lotions. You pay for what you get when it comes to tanning lotions and paying a little extra for a good lotion is well worth it. It allows your tanning time to produce better results. I lose my color very fast, but usually tan fairly easy. I am very dark after going through this bottle. It lasts a lot longer than you would expect too. You don't have to use as much as some other lotions. Definitely recommend.

I've always loved the regular Black, and this one just seems even better. The smell isn't so potent, and it seems less heavy. I get good color with it and you can't beat the price. Every bottle of lotion I order online, I buy FROM AMAZON. I have never gotten a bottle of fake lotion, and if I did I could easily return it free of cost. So don't go cheap to save an extra buck by ordering thru a different seller. Take the safe road and you won't be disappointed. I only buy tanning lotion here now, considering this bottle is over $100 in the salon. Very satisfied.
