Vampires Are Forever: A Curvy Girl and Vampire Romance (Vampires Crave Curves, Book 1)

Forgot how good Aidy makes me feel
It’s been awhile since I’ve read an Aidy Award book and I’d forgotten how good they make me feel about myself as a not so skinny woman. Often when I read romances they talk about the heroine’s tiny hands or lithe limbs, blah, blah, blah and I know those are descriptions that would never be used for me.Aidy’s heroine’s are lush and curvy and still hot and attractive to their men and suddenly I can see myself that way as well. I really need to be reminded of that sometimes. In addition, Vampires Are Forever is hilarious, I often found myself laughing out loud, and so filled with not only James Bond references but also other enchanting pop culture references that it is just a blast to read. On top of the comedy it also manages to be a hot and sexy love story, a fun filled vampire romance and a mystery. There aren’t a lot of authors good at combining multiple genres within the same book but it is done seamlessly in Vampires are Forever. This is one of the best romances I’ve read in awhile and definitely a great pick for a fun summer read!

Vampire James Bond... yes please!
This was a very cute, fun read. Love the curvy girl getting her time in the su....shower 😉 This was a really cute storyline with many twists to keep it going. Can't wait for book 2.Only make down a star due to grammatical errors (have instead of gave...things like that) kind of made my head hurt. But "douchepotato" made it worth it 🤣🤣🤣

Great read!!
This was my first book by this author. They had put in just the right amount of humor to passion. I'm a curvy girl who loves when she finds her "one". Gives me hope. They say there is a bit of truth behind every story.

Feels Off
I wanted to like this book, but there were so many times I had to stop my reading flow because of a typo. Not just once or twice, but many times which is a real pain in the ass as a reader to deal with. Nothing is as bad as when you have to take yourself out of a story because the proofreader/ editor was probably half asleep when reading this book.My other issue with this book is I’ve read this author’s other work before. Her word usage for her characters and how she describes a scene and the flow of action all seem different in this one. As if someone else was doing the writing. The kitchen rescue scene was a disaster and I don’t mean as in the mess made during the fight. Why didn’t Creepo drag Rose with him as a shield instead? If she’s in the fridge, when doesn’t she mention being cold? Why didn’t the patrons panic at the fight taking place?‽! You would think El Creepo would have more minions around if he’s expecting to ambush a top agent but the fight was over too quick for me.I highly doubt I’ll get the next book in this series if this is an example of what to expect. As someone mentioned, this feels juvenile and reads like fan fiction instead of a seasoned pro. I expected at least no typos, but missing details and typos?? I can’t give this one any more than 3 stars. And how does a history buff not recognize famous princesses in front of her?? Ughhhh.

only OK
I was really looking forward to this book and preordered it based on the description, and how much I’ve enjoyed most of Ms. Award’s previous books. However, it was a bit disappointing. The basic story was good and the characters had potential, but the execution lacked. I felt like I was reading a comic book, complete with jumps in the flow and a lot of over-the-top action and dialog. It lacked fleshed-out characters and storyline. Because I wasn’t absorbed by the story, the typos (a handful, could have been worse) stood out to me. I’d rate this 3.5 stars, and I almost rounded down to 3, but decided to be generous and go with 4.

Delightful Romance!
Vampires Are Forever was a wonderful book! I received a free copy and highly recommend it! As a fan of all things James Bond, this was a Truly delightful story! I loved the hero's name - James Vond! There were many references in the storyline that referred to James Bond like characters but with new names for this story! The hero, James Vond, works as an agent for the Vampire Intelligence Agency. Loved his character! Then he meets Rose, a dress maker, who smells like rich chocolate cake to him! He is smitten but fights it as he believes he cannot continue in his present job if he takes a mate! Rose is a Truly delightful character and earns her living making clothes for "heavy" women. She is such a delightful person! The story was enchanting including quite a twisting plot. I read it without stopping for any distractions! Enjoyed this story Very much! I encourage everyone who enjoys humor with adventure to read this very entertaining story! As for me, I am planning on buying and reading the next book in the series immediately!

A whole new world to discover
I really enjoy Aidy’s writing. She has a way with words, a vivid imagination and a talent to create the most hilarious situations and banters. I LOVE how she plays on serious stuff, like calling her hero Vond. James Vond. Or the secret organisation VIA, a wink to CIA. Rose is a force to reckon with, a no nonsense kinda girl who is way stronger than you might expect. Of corse, Aidy’s world is complex and nothing is as it seems. Can’t wait to discover what lies beneath along her series! Love it!

I loved the dual narration of Stephanie Rose and Silas Hart Rose is a brilliant designer. Who is not just smart, sexy and curves that go on and on. James Vond is sexy, and is dedicated to the Vampire Intelligence Agency who safeguard the Royals of Europe.James finds himself tasked with guarding Rose. A job he does not, until he meets the sexy, feisty, curvy fashion designer. Whose sent is driving him mad. This book has great humour, steam, action and brilliant characters.
