Great alternative to the standard spring version
The last hand exerciser snapped the spring out of the grip while I was using it. I had given up on that type of exerciser. Then I found these. Works great…3 levels of resistance and no springs. Very durable

Hoping this helps with strengthening my dominant hand...
I got this product because, due to an undiagnosed issue with my right arm (Doctor's can't tell if it's a pinched nerve in my neck, elbow, or wrist), my right hand has gotten weaker over time. Unfortunately, my right hand is my dominant hand. I have random issues with finger numbness or trigger finger. I'm hoping that by using these handgrip strengtheners that I will eventually be able to get some of my strength back. The handgrips are made of solid silicone. They come in 3 different group strengths (30, 40, 50). I like that these feel like a smooth, soft bike tire and are not at all sticky or tacky feeling. Like with any silicone, they are a magnet for hairs, but I find using baby powder on them prevents things from sticking. On the other hand, they are silicone, so they are very easy to just wash off if too much is sticking to it.The only critique I have about these handgrips, is that they don't come with any guide/info that tells you what color is what resistance or even any beginner/basic uses or exercises to do with these. I had to go to the product page for that info, while yes it was easy to find, it would be much easier to just include a little sheet with directions or a little diagram. If I would have sent this as a gift, the person wouldn't really know what to do with these or maybe even what they were for (the colors could give them the impression it's a children's toy).Playing around with them a little, once I looked up a few videos on what you can do with them, they seem like they might be able to help some with my hand strength issue. I'll have to look into some recommended routines to get started and I will update my review if they wind up helping me in any way.

No springs to break
My previous grip trainer broke. I got this because there's nothing on it to break. I think I would prefer them a little larger. They aren't as stiff as I would like them to be either. I found I can get around that though by using two at once. They do work though and there aren't any springs to break.

False advertisement, incorrect lbs
My primary issue with the product is that it is nowhere near the ratings stated. We tested them three times, the blue ring averaged 23lbs of force with 23.5lbs being the highest recording when fully compressed. The other two rings both averaged 19lbs and 20.5lbs of force; they seem to be made from nearly identical polymers. I use a competitive product that looks similar but accurately measures 30/40/50lbs when fully compressed. I bought this as an extra set so I could bring them to work with me, but it's pointless. Going to return them and buy the other brand.

Unique Grip Trainers
I usually use those standard V shaped grip trainers but wanted to try something a bit different. I really like these! I kept the blue one for myself (the 40 lb) and gave the other two to my mother-in-law who is looking to build/maintain some grip strength. Now that I look at the product description a bit closer, I notice the orange is the most poundage at 50. I'll be honest, the blue one is the most difficult by far. The orange and green are easy, and there isn't a ton of differentiation between those two; but the blue is really stiff. Maybe there's a lot of variation between production?

I like them - mild resistance but that has its benefits
Was introduced to this type of ring grip by a rock climber friend who used them regularly to strengthen grips, so when these popped up as a cheap option on Amazon, I decided to try them. These are not the same quality as the ones my rock climbing friend had, and not as difficult in terms of resistance, but I like them quite well and am getting a decent hand workout daily. While the resistance is pretty mild on all of them, and there is only a slight difference (orange easiest, green a tad harder, and blue the most challenging) I find that they are suited to a different type of exercise that I don't get with other traditional hand grips I have - they're just better suited to work different types of hand muscles. For example, I can focus on using my finger tips only, or using certain combinations of fingers, or single fingers with the easier resistance, even putting the rings in between fingers and squeezing. And with the variation in resistance, I can work my weaker hand simultaneously.Honestly I didn't think I'd like them at first but now my hands are starting to feel much stronger. As I type this I can tell my hands muscle have been working in a way that they don't normally get.And for the price, these seem like a no brainer buy in my opinion for someone with low to moderate hand strength. I think they're worth a try (as long as you don't already have great hand strength). Then you could step up to higher resistance/higher quality versions.

Hard to tell the difference
According to the online picture, the orange ring was listed as having the most resistance but i dont think that is accurate. They all feel similar but the blue one seems the stiffest. They provide resistance but if you want clearly different resistance levels, I cannot tell them apart other than the color. After less than two weeks of sporadic use, the blue one is already cracked.
