I am still reading it. I only gave it ...
I am still reading it. I only gave it four stars because to insinuate a CPA would do work for lunch is a bit of an unrealistic expectation.

QuickBooks or Accounting
I thought I was buying a book on QuickBooks, but it turned out to be a whole course on Accounting. I don't mind and I will keep it.Very well organized.

Extremely helpful especially for the dummy I am when it comes to learning quickbooks. I refer to it often.

Not Enough Information
I purchased the book so I could learn how to use QB at my office. For the most part, I'm self-taught on the sales side of the program. When I have, what I think are basic how-to questions I turned to the book and have yet to find solid answers for my challenges. My latest question had to do with correcting a missed credit entry on a reconciled credit card statement ... The answer I found had to do with a bank statement reconciliation so now we have to pay the accountant to come in and fix what seems like something that should be pretty simple to fix. .... The book seems to be more interested in the accounting side of the program.

As Advertised.
QuickBooks 2018 is a bit confusing if you have not used QuickBooks before.

Two Stars
The product seems geared to firms whose income is based on sales of inventory. If there is a section devoted to professional services, I haven't found it yet. It is necessary for our firm to switch from Peachtree Accounting, acquired 20 years ago at a time when the firm was a partnership with multiple partners. The firm is now a PLLC with one member and we need something simple. Two stars is the best I can rate it at this time; hopefully, once I finish the book, I can upgrade my review.

Good to get more use of quickbooks, won't help you set it up though.
It's a good book - however, if you have just bought quickbooks and want to set it up, this is probably not the best place to start. Find someone who knows what they're doing as correct setup is critical to using it properly.

not suitable for uk product.
It doesnt fully cover the "Cloud" for our HMRC and UK version of QB

not very in-depth, zero on online banking
not very in-depth, basically just overviews. and zero on online banking...could have at least mentioned that you cant import .csv files to desktop version. wish I had saved my money and just goggled issues as i went even tho i prefer a book.

Too much info for the beginner.
I should have purchased the one for the software I was using but I wasn't sure which belonged to which. If I had waited, I would have known. This is a good reference for an accountant but not needed for a particular software.
