The wood used is super thick, and beautifully stained. I can feel the grain with my hand. We had an issue with the screws for the handle but other than that, with tools and a partner assembly was easy and quick. It’s super tough too, saw other previous reviews saying it would bow out from weight of their dogs, my wife and our 90lb Doberman sat in it and the gate latched with no issues. Looks like heirloom furniture to boot! Get it if you’ve got a big dog and hate ugly crates

This kennell is wonderful. The style is exactly what we wanted. Easy to assemble as well.

I do like that this is big and nice looking but that's where the positive things end.Honestly for the price it should be better quality, the locks don't align correctly and my dog has been able to bust out of it. I had to go to home depot to buy ply wood to place on bottom because it came cracked but I needed something right away so didn't have the option of returning it. I have zip ties on one side since locks don't align correctly. On the other side I had to put a baby lock hopefully it will work. I would definitely look for another option if you can because for over $300 this thing should be flawless.

The latches are NOT sturdy enough for even a 15lb dog to jump against! We had an escaped puppy who tore up our house ! So I ended up with cabinet child locks on it for now .. suggested larger latches for it !! Other than that we love the 360 feed and water bowls and the storage on top ..

Had to order this after my 50 lbs pittie/terrier broke out of a cheaper one. Looks awesome plenty of room for her and blankets and toys. Be aware that I had to shim the middle bottom shelf because it bowed ,with her weight , enough that the lower latch wouldn't lock

It seems sturdy. My dog loves it, well designed, easy to put together, I don't really like the latches they are finicky but other than that it's pretty.

This is a great size for a med or large dog and I can fit both my boxer and American bully together if I had to. It's extremely sturdy and when you put together, don't tighten down the frame all the way because you need to put the top and bottom in. Doesn't slide in. Put one side in and gently drop down. Once top and bottom are in, then tighten frame. I'm 64 yr old female and got it done. This is worth the price. I'm happy with this purchase and I didn't think I would be. I chose not to put in bowl holders as I wanted the room without dogs running into them, however the frame is well built. Not flemsy at all. Plus putting all their trees, leashes and play toys on top is a bonus.
