Comfortable, Versatile, and Responsive
I primarily work on a laptop with a touchpad. It is not always convenient, nor productive, to use the touchpad. In those situations a wireless mouse is indispensable. The battery life seems very efficient so far. Even when I don't actually turn off the mouse (which is most of the time) the mouse is smart enough to sleep and not drain of energy. The thumb shelf is very helpful and useful feature. Heretofore I have only used a traditional mouse (whether corded or cordless). The thumb shelf alone gives this particular mouse great appeal. It keeps things clean. Another useful feature (particularly when you tend to leave the wireless mouse turned on) is that the mouse does not actually activate until you click on it. It will not instantly take you to whatever link the cursor happens to be near, but just activates the mouse so it can be used.It is very easy to switch between this mouse and the touchpad, so you always have options on how you are working.I am not much of a game, so I personally found very little use for the thumb-activated mouse buttons. In fact, the first couple of times I accidentally pressed one, I was surprised and mystified by the reactions of the laptop. You will quickly become accustomed to these buttons and find a use for them, or learn to ignore them.On the whole, therefore, this mouse is a good deal and highly recommended.

Minor troubles connecting, otherwise OK.
When I used Bluetooth to connect this mouse to my desktop PC, it said Bluetooth 4.0 and tried to connect 3 times, but then it seemed to roll back to Bluetooth 3.0 and then it DID connect. But that could be a problem with my very old desktop PC. Beside that, I saw it stutter (freeze) once.Weight is good. Noiseless (important where we use then -- in studios). Roller works smoothly. DPI switch works for higher-resolution work.

Good size, ok build
This mouse is what I'd consider regular sized. I find many mice (especially wireless ones) too small, and this one feels comfortable to use. It's solid, but it's definitely an economy mouse. For a truly ergonomic mouse with some heft to it, you'll have to spend quite a bit more. This one feels light to me.Connectivity: I haven't had good luck with Bluetooth mice over the years (including expensive ones), so I don't even try anymore. Using the dongle, I haven't had any connectivity issues at all (though, as other have mentioned, you have to click to wake it up--not a big deal). The dongle does have a storage spot in the battery compartment. I've borrowed this mouse from my kids' computer several times to use with my laptop and it went back and forth without any hiccups--all it takes is moving the dongle from one computer to another, turn off the mouse and turn it back on again, and I'm off and pointing. I didn't have to install anything, it just worked plug-and-play.I haven't messed with the dpi settings, but the buttons and scroll wheel work well. Again, not luxury feeling, but they are functional.

Frustrating
Update: Dec. 8, 2023Effectiveness of the mouse has decreased substantially. I have to click the buttons multiple times for it to register the selection. It just doesn't work very well. Poor performance after only a few months. I do not recommend.Original Review: July 20, 2023This is a very nice mouse. I mean I know a mouse is just a mouse, so how could this be anything special? Of course, it works as a mouse should work. But I like that it works using Bluetooth or the USB adapter. I haven't tried the Bluetooth feature yet, but I like having that option, just in case. It says that the battery last 8 months. Obviously, don't know if that's true yet but that's really good if its true, lol. I like that it's wireless and the shape. Feels good in the hand. I think it has an ergonomic design but it wasn't advertised as that. I love the design and modern look to it. Haven't had any problems.

Does not 'wake on move.' Button only...
Ergonomics and comfort and ease of use are subjective. I haven't yet found the perfect mouse to fit my odd grip style (claw/fingertip blend, with a preference to have the mouse rotated slightly counter-clockwise for an unusual travel path). To me this mouse fits well within the configuration for most users though. Probably a bit better with fingertip style compared to claw, and not too 'enforcing' of a palm grip.Otherwise the buttons all have decent actuation, the dpi settings are good (the base dpi might actually be a little fast for some more casual users...). The wheel works well. I like the color scheme of grey/white and the wheel glows blue but not glaringly so.My issue is that this mouse does not wake up with movement. My name brand wireless mice do. That is very very (very) frustrating to me and results in a snag in my workflow/expectation every time. You have to actually click a button to get it to wake up. Fortunately that click does not translate to a selection on the computer so if your mouse resting place was somewhere activate-able, that first click won't be an additional issue. This behavior/programming choice doesn't usually get called out in product listings so it makes selecting a new wireless mouse online a tricky affair. Well, I have two other mice on deck to try. Wish me luck.~Cheers!

A very good looking functional mouse
I got this for my work laptop. This is a very nice mouse which looks really good on the desk. It comes with a wireless dongle which I find more stable than the bluetooth connections. No issues so far.

Works OK but requires a click to wake up
I needed a 2.4G mouse to replace a Logitech G305 and it seems to do a good job and not lose connection as easily when compared to bluetooth mice. The only odd thing is that it requires you to click to wake up when it hasn't been used in a while. For most other mice, just moving it should wake it up.
