Easy to Handle
These ramps are a pleasure to use. There are no sharp edges so gloves are not needed. Although approximately 7.5 feet long, the folding style and light weight (16 lb. each) make them easy to store and transport. I prefer their top plate design over the finger extensions alternative since it gives a smoother transition into my vehicle which is a hatchback - not a truck. I also appreciate the slightly arched upper section. The gaps between the cross bars are about 2.6 in. wide which is less than other similar designed products. The gaps were not a problem for the relatively small wheels of a walk-behind lawn mower. Similarly, they did not bother me as I walked up and down the ramps. I did discover that the gap at the top end was larger (about 3.25 In. wide). However, I was able to insert a 0.75 by 0.7.5 in. cross bar in each ramp to reduce this gap. The ramps appeared to be quite sturdy, but I used them primarily to transport items which weighed much less than their rated capacity.
