Ordered my first pair of Irish setter boots for this years upland bird season and I absolutely love these boots. Fit and quality are exceptional and wasn't sure about the color first but now it is a favorite feature. They are waterproof and have stood up to field abuse and still look great. I liked them so much I bought the insulated ones for deer season. Great price, quality and style. Fit is snug, true to size, don't expect to get another pair of socks on. They needed minimal breaking in time and my breaking-in period was first day of grouse season and never had a problem. Great boots.

This is my first review but is have to say, I am so impressed with these boots!I was looking for a replacement boot for my LL beams that finally fell apart after 25 years of hunting and hiking. Loved those boots, but LL Bean doesn’t make these type of boots anymore.I ordered these and I must say, they are comfortable, warm, and waterproof. I didn’t realize Setters were Redwings, so that is a plus. My Red Wing work boots lasted decades as well so I look forward to using these boots well into my retirement a decade or two from now!A definite buy for hiking and hunting!

These wore well for boots these days. They were warm and comfortable. The soles wore a little faster than I would of liked but they lasted longer than most.

Fit good and will keep your feet dry

Bought these for Ohio Spring turkey season and anticipated a long break-in period based on previous reviews about stiffness. However, these were comfortable right out of the box and I walked two miles as soon as I tried them on and had no issues. They appear well made and durable. Looking forward to getting out in the woods to see how waterproof they are.

After 1 year of use bird hunting and hiking the side stitching and panel failed catastrophically. I take good care of my boots and the use was not extreme. Third pair of Irish Setters, first time disappointed. Trying to return and get credit, boots like this should last

Returned the first pair because the right boot had some kind of cardboard, or hard leather buckling up inside at the ball of the foot. The left boot was great. Super comfortable. The boots would be great if they both felt like the left foot. So I sent them back and ordered a replacement. The next pair arrived and had the same exact issue. Yes, I’m sure they didn’t send the same pair back. lol. Well I returned the 2nd pair and decided to look for a different brand to try. Fool me once…. lol.
