Bright with wide illumination . It’s comfortable and easy to adjust. brilliant idea using a band of led lights that are light in weight, bright and low in weight so it stays on your forehead. Very well made.

Liked the intuitive way this light charges, switches between modes and adjust to head/hat sizes. Exceptionally bright. I bought two may buy some more.

I am not a fan of l.e.d lighting but it's all the rage these days. It's terrible for you're eyes that's been proven and although it lights up a broad area you really can't zone In clearly on one area and get a clear picture of what your looking at. That being said the buddy light is fine for what it is but led lighting is not superior to incandescent, Haledon etc in my experience.

I use this to do daily fleet inspections on deicing trucks at the airport at zero dark thirty. It lights up my work area enough to check fluid levels and read mileages. I like that it doesn't add a lot of weight to my forehead or affect my balance like some other headband flashlights can. I especially like that it is rechargeable. I also have a small flashlight I carry for work that takes one CR123 battery. It lasts maybe a week before it starts to dim. This light (which I also wear for work) is full intensity all the time, as long as I remember to plug it in at the end of my shift. Takes maybe two hours to charge.The motion on/off feature is nice, but I rarely use it. I turn on the LED's at full intensity and that's usually good enough. The motion sensor is also overly sensitive and can be activated by getting too close to the side of a truck, for instance. Better just to not use it.There are a variety of versions of this light on the market. I checked the reviews before deciding on this one. It's more expensive but has also paid for itself in battery replacement savings. I use it five days a week and so far, no problems.

Purchased one a while back, loved how bright and easy it was to use. Just had to purchase another one. Great for hunting, working on vehicles or whenever you need a light and have your hands free. Bought a cheap version and was disappointed. Night Buddy is they way to go

Seriously, if you work on anything where you need to see into a dim space, this is money extremely well spent. The main light is bright enough to light an engine bay up with a focus soft enough that you arent blinding yourself, theres no constantly adjusting it to point the light in the right direction like with a traditional headlamp since the LED strip floods the entire viewing area with light, battery life is excellent, and its actually pretty comfortable to wearIm not entirely sold on all the features, but thats not worth a star off, i just have no use for them. The red light mode would probably be useful to the outdoors type, as would the focused spotlight. Personally, neither option is useful for me, but i appreciate them being there. I feel the same about motion detection, its handy to have, but if youre a mechanic using this youll be accidentally shutting the light off every 3 seconds. Here again, probably more useful for the outdoors typeSmall word of warning, i did somehow manage to kill one of these. Dunno if i got a dud or not, but i forgot to turn it off one day and after the battery died i never got it to turn back on. It would show the status light for charging, but never seemed to accept a charge. Ended up swapping it out, dunno if the battery just lacks the typical low-voltage protection or if i got unlucky, but the new one is still going strong, though ive not run it to death

Love it. Really handy if you don’t mind wearing a headlamp. I like it better than the neck lights.
