Good, perfect with some work
This will be a long review but I hope it helps someone! I bought the D2 real leather version.I had been looking around for an N7 genuine leather jacket for a while but considering they're all made in and often ship from China, I didn't want to drop $150 on something that likely wouldn't fit me and then cost me $20 to return. Then I saw this particular jacket: $80, free shipping, and free returns. I literally had nothing to lose so I took the plunge. To start, I am 6 ft tall, 165 lb, have a 30-in waist, 40-in hips, a 40-in chest, and long arms. This jacket fits me pretty perfectly and much to my delight, the sleeves are actually long enough for me which is saying something because I have a hard time finding shirts and jackets with sleeves long enough for my arms. The correct fitment of this jacket is probably because it was styled after a biker's jacket where you would want long sleeves. At first glance the leather, which is real, wasn't super supple but also not terrible. There are a couple of patches across the shoulders and above the chest pockets that are not real leather. They are perforated vinyl that looks convincing enough to blend in well with the rest of the jacket and also add a little contrast in sheen because the vinyl isn't as shiny as the leather, so it ends up looking pretty good. The zippers have "YKK" stamped into them but they are definitely not genuine YKK. They are a bit sticky but they get the job done, and I will probably wear the jacket unzipped a lot of the time anyway so not a big deal. I might rub a little dry wax lubricant on them to see if that smooths them out.The black parts of the leather weren't super JET black. I guess that amounts to just an observation but more on that later. The red stripes are more of a burgundy color, also more on that later. The N7 patch is the worst part of the jacket: see picture. It's not wide enough, the font is completely wrong, it's kind of rough and melted plastic around the edges, and the red delta on mine is just a little triangle without the squared off part on the top. I cut the stitching on the patch, removed it, and I'm going to replace it with a proper looking patch that I got off of Etsy for five bucks. You can see that one is the clearly better looking one in my picture! Now regarding the color and consistency of the leather. Like I said, the black wasn't super jet black and I thought it could be softer so I rubbed it down with some black Terrago leather shoe cream which can be purchased on Amazon. It darkened up the leather, conditioned and softened it nicely, added a bit of water resistance, and a soft shine that looks really sharp. I used the same product in a bright red to rub down the burgundy stripes and they came out a little bit more of a dark red looking color that I think looks better.Overall, for 80 bucks, I don't think you can beat this jacket. It's decent to begin with, and with a bit of work and a few extra bucks thrown at it, it looks downright legit. I would definitely recommend giving it a try while it's still available. I mean shoot: it's cheaper than the fake leather version that doesn't even have free returns!

Good Jacket for price
I was a little reluctant to buy one of these online without being able to try it on first, but was pleasantly surprised. So much so that I bought two versions just in case. Both were pretty decent, but this was the better of the two. Not only was it a great replica of the Shepard casual wear, but as leather jackets go this was a good jacket for the price. Keep in mind that the one I picked up was the real leather one though. I doubt the imitation leather looks as good. For sizing reference: I am 5'9" with a 40" chest, 32" waist (actual measurements), and the jacket I ordered (pictured) was a Medium.

Super Comfortable!!!
Loved my jacket. Wore it to Youmacon for my Commander Shepard cosplay. Got a few compliments about it. Was very warm, comfortable and enjoyed the deep pockets. Definitely recommend for any Mass Effect fan or cosplayer.

I ordered an XS and got an XL?
No tag but it’s huge so pretty easy to tell it’s the wrong size. Pretty ridiculous for something that’s $40+

Order larger size-runs small
My son loved this jacket, but it does run small so order larger size

Already returned it a while ago. Embroidery was cheap looking.
