I bought the book as a gift for my 10 year old son… book received in excellent condition. Delivery was prompt. Due to some technical glitch it is still showing as undelivered on the app but my son is already half way through it. Will update the content review once my son will be done with it.

This book was incredible. A compelling story matching two games in a timeline, and representing a stark contrast between the morals of the protagonist and antagonists. There is a big vocabulary for kids to learn. My only pet peeve is that there are few things that are added that are not true to the game such as(spoiler alert) leustic axolotl.but still good!

An exciting book that my 9 year old struggles to put down

It can be difficult to tell what age a book is designed for sometimes and if it fits. For my advanced child of 6, it's OK but I think the reading level is designed more for 10-13.The author seems to have done a few books based on video games and reading this they seem to have a good understanding of the mechanics of the game and translating it to another medium.There is no pictures in this, so either for a minecraft fan this might be a good starter for going into full text fiction, otherwise I would suggest making sure you've tested the waters on text only books before diving into this one.Haven't got the new game so not 100% sure on how it translates, but presumably this is a tie in to help sell it.

Sloppy/confusing writing style and overuse of pronouns for an action adventure book. It was a gift for my child who loves Minecraft, and he couldn't get past the first few chapters. Very disappointed with this purchase.
