Great sprouts/microgreens growing kit!
The containers work great for me! I now have fresh sprouts and microgreens on my counter to enjoy any time. I following the directions and took the advice of one reviewer but using cheese cloth for the first day or two to let the seeds sprout then spreading them on the growing tray. Some do fall through the holes if you don’t. I purchased my cheese cloth on Amazon for about $4.

Fast and clean microgreen
Growing micro greens using this product is very easy. Both photos show product in use. First picture show broccoli seeds. I used a piece of gauze so the small seeds won’t fall through the screen. germinated in about two days. The second picture is of radish greens, germinated in a few hours then take about 3-4 days to be edible. When sprouts are grown enough, I put the container in the refrigerator to stop secondary leaves from growing (which aren’t always good to eat)The instructions are simple , easy to follow, wording is kind of comical.

Works great! see my steps in the review.
Well made and sturdy. I had really good results. Directions are a little thin but was able to look up tips on the internet. Here are the steps I followed:1) I soaked a little less than a tablespoon of seeds in about half cup of water overnight.2) i lined my tray insert with a little square of a bamboo paper towel or cheese cloth to keep the seeds from falling through the insert. I had a Microgreens superfood seed mix and almost all the seeds were too small not to fall through without the liner. I watched a lot of videos on YouTube and most systems like this require a growing medium (like a paper towel or cheese cloth.) I didn’t see a big difference in between the bamboo paper towel and cheese clothe, so I would probably just go with what’s cheaper or compostable. Just get something that doesn’t have too many added chemicals or bleaching.3) i poured my seeds (water and all) in the lined growing insert. Not all the seeds poured out of the glass (some stick to the glass) so I just added a little more water and poured it again. I used my finger tips to lightly spread the seeds out on the lined insert.4) I filled up the water in the tray just so it barely touched the paper towel/cheese cloth when the tray was inserted.5) I covered with the domes and closed the little vent holes and put them on my desk covered by a heavy towel folded over several times to keep the sun out for 3 days. I keep my thermostat at about 70-74.6) I took the towel and the plastic dome covers off. At this point, there were visible sprouts and root hairs. The root hairs kind of look like mold, but if the micro greens smell okay and the roots look healthy when you lift the tray (like white not black), it’s probably just root hairs. If you’re not sure I would look up some pictures/tips on the internet.7) I placed them under a $18 grow light for about 6-10 more days. Same room I soaked the seeds and had their blackout period in (70-74 degrees). After about 5 days I had to add a little more water.8) cut the Microgreens off the bamboo paper towel and pulled the towel off the tray. I washed it with a tad of dish soap for about 30 seconds and laid out to dry. The tray and and insert seem sturdy enough for the dishwasher but didn’t want to risk it. The domes I wouldn’t put in the dish washer. The domes are heavier than take out containers but not as heavy as the tray/insert.I also tried a Microgreens kit with a hemp grow mat. This system at first out performed the hemp mat kit, but after about 10 days the hemp micros caught up in most places though there were some thin spots. The hemp mat kit also required a little more water. The bamboo paper towel is cheaper than a hemp mat and the hemp mat tray is larger so I will probably keep using these trays over the kit with the hemp mat. I like that these trays are kind of small so I don’t have to harvest that many at once. One tray was enough to top 9 tacos with some extra. I stagger their growth so I have each tray maturing at different times. I usually use one tray per meal for 3 people.

NOT GOOD FOR BROCCOLI SEEDS
The draining holes are too big and it good for broccoli seeds. They just fall right through the holes. Good for beans or other larger seeds.

Good quality
Both the trays and lids are heavy duty. I wouldn't put the lids in the dishwasher but the trays handled it fine which is the important part. You will need some kind of screen or liner for small seeds, it would be nice if they came with multiple hole sizes but I think with plastic this thick anything small enough for say alfalfa seeds would have drainage issues. That was the case with other sprouting trays I've had so excited to try these.

Sturdy and FUN
The hydroponic microGreen trays arrived well packaged and in a timely fashion. They are sturdier than I had feared they would be - I think they will last a long time ! I bought two sets and have silicone mesh on order to put over the larger holes for growing brocc. and kale and smaller microgreen seeds. They will be a fun addition to window sills for winter greens :-)

Love the clear tray
The clear lower trays allow you to see the water level. These work great for microgreens

Very Colorful Microgreen trays
Very nice and perfect for one or two people - mostly for larger seeds. If you want to grow smaller seeds then get dehydrator tray silicone screens and cut them to fit. very happy with these

Very nice!
They were selling at a decent price and the quality is good. Arrived well-packaged and intact. Nice colours too. Easy to use, though at first I soaked way too many seeds and had to split them between the two containers. My cat enjoys the fresh grass. My only trouble with it is that it tends to grow greyish mould at the base of the grass and top of the roots. I change the water every day but still it happens. The grass still appears to be fine for a while. When it gets to be a bit grotty-looking I throw it out and start over with fresh seeds.

Easy to use, rugged build, great for microgreens
I've grown several batches of microgreens with this. It works great:1. I use a 5" hemp mat and wet it down with a 50% hydroponic solution, then fill the bottom till it's touching the bottom of the top grate.2. I add seeds to the hemp mat, a bit less than 1/2 a tsp and spread them as evenly as I can.3. I add a lid and let them go for 10 days. Voila, a nice harvest of microgreens.Easy to harvest, easy to clean, rugged build, they'll last a long time.

Seeds drop through screen
I was excited to grow some sprouts. It has been a struggle because the seeds wash through the screen every time I water them. The box did come with instructions to add a layer in case your seeds are too small, but I do not have food grade plastic mesh readily available to me. It should have been provided, or maybe the holes in the screen should have been made a lot smaller. This product would work well with seeds that are larger than 4 mm. I used broccoli seeds, they are too small, so disappointing.
