Saved my yoga practice
I'm a regular yoga practitioner who happens to be quite fond of arm balances, handstands, and other poses that are hard on your wrists. Over time I've been developing more and more wrist pain, plus what was diagnosed as a tendon issue in the thumb area of my left hand. I had reached a point a few months ago where I thought I was going to have to stop yoga for a while to recover. I bought this wedge and within 2 weeks of regularly incorporating it into my practice, my tendon issue was pretty much gone, and I finished up my yoga practices with significantly less wrist pain. Yippee! There's one downside, however. It's made out of a slippery foam material - so I have to put it underneath my mat in order to use it without my hands slipping off. Problem is, then it gets in the way when doing standing poses that take up the length of the mat (warriors, etc)- so I end up having to fiddle around with moving it and out from under the mat. It can get annoying and distracting. Wish something like this existed that had a non-slip surface.

Great product. Versatile.
My physical therapist recommended I get this. I have mild scoliosis and with this cut into three pieces, one half the full length and two 1/4 each, I can slide these under my hip, pelvis and under my rib cage to straighten my spine out while resting. At first it felt weird, now it feels great. I had no idea how much of my back pain was due to such a small curve that only a trained eye would see. Also, I have weak wrists, I can use the two smaller pieces under my hands while doing the ached back exercises and it certainly helps me to not think about the new wrist pain if I don't use these.

Love to use this when I sit on the floor ...
Love to use this when I sit on the floor for any reason (playing a board game, wrapping presents, working on crafts, painting toenails, etc). It support my lower back well, which is why I wanted it.

Not very useful for yoga
This Foam Yoga Wedge is not very useful to me. The main issues are that it's slippery so you have to put it under your mat and because it runs the entire width of your mat that is space that you won't be able to use for your feet. You end up losing the front 18 inches or so of your mat for use of your feet. Also, placing the mat over this lightweight foam wedge will cause the front portion of your mat to lose most of the grip it has with the floor. I'll be returning it.My physical therapist gave me a tip to use a small/medium size, partially deflated child's ball for each hand instead. Each palm should rest on the partially deflated ball while fingers rest on that mat. I'll try that at some point.

It works.
Reducing the amount of the angle helps reduce wrist pain. I am especially putting in this review to counterbalance an earlier one that said, " bends my wrist at even a more severe angle while in down dog and plank". That person obviously had it in backwards. You can certainly make it a steeper angle that way, or use it properly and reduce the angle. It does make it a little more difficult to balance, due to the extra cushioning however, I appreciate the challenge!

but still figuring out the best way to use/place it
it definitely helps take pressure off my wrists, but still figuring out the best way to use/place it. I think that must be typical... everyone's anatomy slight different

Wide and sturdy. Just like the bum that I tuck it under!
Maybe it's my runner's hips. Maybe it's the fact that for twenty years I didn't stretch after I ran. For whatever reason, I cannot sit in Staff pose with a tall, flat back. This prop helps coax my pelvis and back into reasonably good form. I'd definitely buy again!

Light & easy to carry to class (if need be)
Works well. Light & easy to carry to class (if need be). It sometimes slips if used on the carpet. Worth it for the price!

I have carpal tunnel, this helped but wasn’t a total remedy for yoga
I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists (I am 32yrs old). I tried yoga class and it really hurt my wrists, to the point I couldn’t do a lot of the poses that were weight bearing.I tried this in hopes to take pressure off as I read about wedges helping for yoga. It was ok, it did relieve some pressure off my wrists however it wasn’t a total remedy, I still had to modify poses during the 1-hour class. The pressure just transfers to your palms, but it was a bit helpful and I’ll continue to use it!

Too Slippery
My hands slide right off the wedge, making it kind of pointless. Needs some sort of grip material so that I don't have to by gloves to use it.
