I’ve had and used this belt for about a month, wearing it about 3 out of 5 work days a week. I really like it so far, surprisingly so. I did have a panic moment when I first put on the belt without knowing how to undo the ratchet part... I was stuck in the belt! Once you figure it out (it’s not hard), it really pretty nice. Seems like a quality belt, there is some weight to it unlike faux leather belts. The buckle is solid too and seems built to last. If they had a lighter brown color I’d get a second, but for now I’m happy with the black one. Good choice.

Once I figured out how to assemble this belt, I was pleased by the way it works. It has an adjustable, sliding latching mechanism so I can find just the right length to keep my pants from slipping down! However, the accompanying directions I found to be very confusing. In the first place the diagrams didn't seem to match the belt I was looking at. I finally figured out that the squared-off end is held in place in the buckle by a row of little spikes on a lever that has to be pressed down into the leather (that end can also be trimmed if the belt is too long). If you do decide to cut off some of the belt, I assume that means it cannot be returned, so you must be very careful. But, once the square end is secured to the buckle, the other end slides through the opening on the other side very satisfactorily.

I thought I was buying an inexpensive back up belt. But it has outlasted all my others and still looks great! This one is for my son as a gift. He is 6’3”, 260#s, and only 16 years old. I knew he needed something to hold up to his size. I had no hesitation in ordering this for him and it has become his favorite as well!!

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the build. It seems like this will last me for a very long time. I will probablybuy a couple more styles and colors. I have become a big fan of the bucling mechanism and how it works. The fact that there is no pinching around the belly for a heavier guy like me, makes this my top choice for belts. I haven't worn any of my old belts since I got this one.

The buckle feels of good quality, release mechanism is simple, racheting is also very good (worn it 2-3 times so far). I wear size 35 pants, as a personal preference I would've liked a slightly longer belt as the excess part of the belt is getting a bit short!

I had bought one of these belts over 2 years ago and although the buckle is a little bit scratched the ratchet system still works as well as when I purchased it and the leather also still looks new! I wear this belt everyday. I would absolutely recommend this product.

Cheap alternative to the bake branded version and the only difference is the quality of leather itself, but it is double stitched so there won’t be any problems with it fraying. For the price it is unbeatable.
