... the way the bag opens from the back is super annoying in small spaces
Firstly the way the bag opens from the back is super annoying in small spaces. I get that its more secure that way but if the zips are as strong as they say and the lock that good then why not put the opening flap on the front anyway?I travelled with this for 6 months and whilst it did give me peace of mind it did not fair well. The top handle snapped, the exterior showed massive signs of wear, despite being looked after but worst of all the whole shape of the bag became slanted, which made packing very annoying.

Good security features and overall travel pack design
Decent backpack suited to all but the most rugged trips. Security features: built in cable lock and pack cover aren't foolproof but make it more inconvenient for opportunist thieves. Padding and shoulder straps are sturdy, adjustable and comfortable, while padded handle grips give carry on-board options. No one seems to show it but the internal layout is good - pack opens suitcase style which is more convenient than a first in last out design. There are a good array of pockets for segregating belongings and the pack works well as a hanging closet when there isn't time for a full unpack / re-pack.
