After a recent back surgery, my doctor recommended this product to place on the scar tissue to promote additional healing. The scar area was partially inflamed after periods of long standing for 6-8 hours and would change color to a slight purple surrounding as if it were bruised. After following the instructions regarding a time limit of wearing the silicone tape, a couple of days and the coloration began to lessen. This tape is easy to install and very sticky, with great adhesion to the area if dry and clean when applied. However, I did notice one time when the tape had rolled up and stuck to my t-shirt, due to the very hot 100-degree plus temperatures in my work area. Normally I simply place the removed tape under clean running water when removed, place it back on the rough side of clear backing, and get 3-5 days of use out of each application. This does seem to help with the sensitivity of the scar area.

The product arrived promptly and is as described. Cannot yet attest to the effectiveness with my scar, as not enough time has elapsed for that.I've been applying daily, and the silicone sheet sticks well to my skin (making sure skin is cleaned well before application). I replenish the sheet once daily (important for hygiene). Washing the used piece with a bit of mild liquid soap makes it re-usable for the following day. Works great.I gave 4 stars for "style" because this is colored correctly for light-colored skin like mine, but would be more noticeable on darker skin tones. Perhaps the addition of a clear version would be helpful.

I have to say, I was skeptical, but I would definitely order again! I found these after searching for silicone gel to use on my post-arthroscopic surgery scars. I'm so glad I went with silicone tape over a gel, these are so easy to use. You can cut off exactly as much as you need to fit your scar. The adhesive is just the right amount, and they truly are waterproof. As far as results, although my scars are small already, I have noticed them soften after only a few weeks. I can't speak on long term results as my surgery was only 8 weeks ago, but I will definitely continue using!

You really don’t want to have to use a Scar Product, but if you do Like I Do it REALLY WORKS. This was my 2nd Reconstructive Surgery on my Face due to Bells Palsy2 years ago, unlike most people their paralysis only lasts 3-6 months, I am not so lucky and had 2 surgeries. My last surgery was June 5, 2023 and I ordered Their Scar Sheets I must say my eye lid was tricky and it was a bumpy scar and I couldn’t use a gel I cut the sheets and my scars are getting better they are smoother they hurt less, I use them on my forehead and around my lip and it’s not been that long I had to have closed wounds before starting and every day they look better. My last surgery I used different Silicone sheets and they did not work nearly as good as these. I am sure they work on any scar but as I said unfortunately for me it’s my face and as a Woman even a 64 yr old I like to look as good as I can. Good luck to anyone who needs them, we have to live with what we’re dealt but some things can make it easier and this Silicone Sheets work and sometimes it’s the small stuff that helps. Thank you for making a product that has helped me.

About a few weeks ago, I got bit by a dog on my face. The bite ripped my upper lip on the lip line and had to get 3 stitches. It could have been worse but I got lucky it wasn’t as bad as others. However I was afraid it was going to scar badly since I am in front of a camera all the time. I bought this after a friend of mine and doctor told me it helps. It’s been 3 weeks using this product for the time suggested with other creams and people can’t even tell! I’m still healing, but I’m excited to see what this will look like after using this for 5 more months!To help it stick better you definitely want to clean or use a q tip with rubbing alcohol around the area.It’s super gentle and I recommend using it at night on your lip.

Bought these for my wife after she had surgery on her arm. The scar tissue was fairly thick, as it was a month before we heard that she needed these. Application is super simple, and because the scar is less than an inch long, cutting a piece off the roll is REALLY easy. After using this for about a week, the scar itself is much softer and looks significantly improved. The sheets stick really well. The instructions say to rinse them off periodically, let dry, and then stick them back on, but since she's using only 1/4" wide piece each time, she hasn't bothered.

I did quite a bit of research on silicone scar treatment before I decided on the Silicone Scar Sheets. I bought the roll since the width is perfect for the scar on my forehead. I am elated at the progress the strips have made on my scar. There is no irritation, the adhesion is great, and the strips are actually almost invisible after they are in place. My scar is becoming flatter by the day. I was so excited about the progress with my own incision that I shared some of the strip with my daughter who had MOHS surgery a few weeks ago. I am 100% pleased with this purchase, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who has a raised scar.
