LimbO Waterproof Protectors Cast and Dressing Cover - Adult Half Arm (M50A: 22-25 cm Above Elbow Circ.)

I am so pleased to say that the LimbO Waterproof Protectors Cast and Dressing Cover is well designed and easy to use. I had my first full shower in 10 days after finding the LimbO cover online. Having badly.fractured my left arm I wondered whether I would be able to put it on with one hand. Happy to say there was no problem at all. It is a slide on slide off with little or no discomfort. I highly recommend the LimbO Waterproof Protectors Cast and Dressing Cover with 5*.

Having had a trapeziectomy and with my hand in plaster almost up to my elbow, I was so pleased to have found this product! You’re able to shower freely and comfortably in the knowledge that the product will keep your limb/bandage/cast completely dry. One thing to note is that you can’t put it on yourself. You need to ask someone to help you and my top tip is to ask your assistant to roll the band down to the bottom (ladies as you would do with a pair of tights) then hold product open and pull it up over the bandage/cast to avoid putting any pressure on the limb (see pic). Once pulled up, the band fits firmly between the elbow and the shoulder. Highly recommended and a fair price given the quality.

I persuaded myself I could live without this for a couple of weeks after my arm surgery, just having stand up washes. When my cast came off and the doctor decided I needed a new one for three weeks I realised I really needed one of these.I used it a few times. It worked well. It was easier to use the covered hand than I expected.Like other reviewers, I think the psychological effects of being able to shower or bathe are incredible at a time when you're otherwise feeling very useless, but it's a bit depressing that I now own one of these that has only been used a few times and is now of little use unless I break another arm. It seems wasteful to throw it away, but also useless to keep it. It'd be good if Limbo provided some guidance on any charities or organisations that could somehow make use of these once they're finished with.

I bought the LimbO half arm on the recommendation of our daughter who is a practice nurse. My wife recently was unlucky enough to break her wrist recently and has it in a plaster cast at the moment.It has worked perfectly and enabled my wife to wash and shower with ease and comfort.It is easy to apply, has been totally waterproof so far and has been a real boon. It is not expensive.As a retired nurse myself i wish these products had been around when i was in practise. We had to use bin bags and elasterplast tape on our patients. They never worked well !!Would recommend LimbO products without hesitation. It has made life so much easier.

After an operation to my left hand, the thought of trying to shower and keep my hand dry was not appealing so I bought this after searching around for a suitable product. Arrived quickly and used it straight away. It is a snug fit going over the upper arm but is completely waterproof and I used this for a month whilst in plaster and dressings. Never leaked and let me shower from day one.

I live on my own and after breaking my dominant hand it has been a nightmare to shower {rain shower) at home. Bin bags and other practical solutions with elastic bands either leaked or impossible to put on/off with one hand. I have been showering once in 2-3 days because of this.This guy is a life saver, very easy to put on and off with one hand. I had full confidence since I broke my arm and managed to thoroughly clean myself, staying underwater longer. Sleve never leaks and not harsh on your skin.Their website is really helpful in finding the correct dimensions for your cast and arm!

Got this after I broke my wrist. It is a brilliant product and with one week to go (hopefully) its made showering so much easier. I've also used it when lifting old flooring to keep my cast clean! If anyone has just broken their arm, a handy hint for washing your none broken arm is to apply the soap to you knee and the side of your leg and rub your arm on it! (If you have a shower over the bath so you can bend your knee)

This is absolutely the answer to my prayers, while sporting a 1/2 arm cast. I chose the M50A as I have very thin upper arms ( barely 25cm) and the fit is perfect. The seal at the top is snug but not uncomfortable, and most importantly totally waterproof. The arm cover is a very high quality (plastic?) product. Wipe it dry with a towel and it’s ready for next time. Because the gasket has to be watertight it takes patience to get over an arm cast if you don’t have help but it can be done (so 4 stars for ease of use.) I did quite a lot of research on these products before buying and am certain I could not have found anything better. Would recommend whole heartedly.
