Q: Can the cloth be cut to smaller size without coming apart?

When I cut mine in half, the edges began to unravel. It didn't come apart, per se. But, it did release small plastic threads along the edge, which isn't ideal for our ecosystem and water reclamation processes. Given this, I wouldn't recommend cutting these to a smaller size. I do regret cutting my cloth in half for this reason, and I disposed of it to prevent further release of those small threads while showering. An aside, I found that I actually LOVE the long length now that I've used it that way. This cloth wads up nicely into a "loofah" size, yet it stretches out well to wash the back.

Q: how long do they last?

Waaay too long. I toss after 6 mo. They still exfoliate, just not as strong.

Q: Where do you store these after using them in the shower?

Not sure I understand the question. I reuse mine for 2 or 3 showers (hang it wet on the shower bar), then launder and store with the washcloths until the next shower.
