This is great! My neighbor had one and after using it I knew I had to have one. It frees up counter space plus it is so much easier to tear the paper towels off. The height makes it to where when I pull down on the paper towel it tears rather than being on the counter where I would pull the paper towards me and then the whole roll comes with it, ugh. I have since bought one for a my son when he moved into an apartment. I would recommend this for anyone.

We attached this to our kitchen roll around and now I do not have to hunt around the kitchen for the paper towels. This paper towel holder also holds the roll so you do not have several paper towels unrolling when you only need one. We attached this with the tape that came with it and months later it is still attached. We love this!

The media could not be loaded.  The Fixwal paper towel dispenser means business. I was initially skeptical based on the price, but this thing delivers. It doesn't mess around with weird spring arms to hold your towels down - instead it incorporates a ratcheting mechanism (which the product description calls a "damper"). See the video I attached. It works VERY well. You can tear the towels off with one hand easily - I tested this both with blue shop towels and standard Bounty rolls. Installation is very easy, and there's plenty of clearance for a standard size large roll. Swapping rolls is as easy as sliding the tube off and a new roll onto the barrel springs - it is held quite securely. Best of all, with this ratcheting mechanism, there's no way a cat will unravel all the towels! I'm super satisfied. Already have 2, I'm going to buy 2 more. I have not had them for long in "high utilization" areas, so we'll see how the mechanism holds up after a year or so. The next one will go in the kitchen so time should tell very quickly.

I had a freestanding paper towel holder that was just sitting on the counter. I wanted one to mount on the side of my cabinet so the roll was vertical (not underneath a cabinet, horizontal, like most). So I needed it to be able to have some resistance to avoid the roll from unrolling. This works perfectly to grab, pull, and tear one 1/2 sheet or 2. It comes with an adhesive strip and screws to mount it. I used the adhesive strip. The instructions recommended heating the strip and applying it. Then stick the base on to the strip and press down firmly and hold for a minute. So far, no issues with the adhesive, holding perfectly.

Best paper towel holder EVER! Frees up counter space, doesn't let too much spin off and makes a cute little click click noise that reminds me of the noise made when you put cards in bike wheels (only MUCH softer).Very sturdy, we opted to use the screws, not adhesive. The metal is strong and seems like it'll hold up forever.Many different angles/ways to mount - we went up under the cupboard and it looks very sleek.

This holder has the perfect resistance! It's very sturdy, and easily fits a Costco / Kirkland paper towel roll (note: if mounted with screws, it may not fit as well)I marked off a star since the screw that holds the roll onto the L bracket was visible - it doesn't look as clear as it could if there were some sort of cap.We mounted it with a few command strips so we could uninstall cleanly if needed, and it works great. We used hot glue and one of the four included decorative screw caps to "hide" the visible screw mentioned above. It looks better, but ideally we wouldn't need to work around that.

It's nice to finally get a paper towel off the rack with only one hand.
