Thai with Wow!
What a fantastic cookbook! If you love Thai, dive in! Wonderful photographs throughout, easy-to-fix guidance with such very cool and exotic recipes. AND the seller shipped with RAPID SPEED! No problems whatsoever. I have an entire bedroom built floor to ceiling with bookshelves on every wall, books overflowing everywhere but this cookbook is among my very favs!

Photo of every dish!
Beautiful cookbook! Interesting recipes that I want to eat! Most importantly, there’s a beautiful photo of each recipe, so I know what the dish should look like. This is so important, especially when it comes to ethnic dishes that are new to someone. This cookbook has the most recipes that appeal to me among the 6 Thai cookbooks I looked at. The only very small complaint is that I wish every dish also had it’s Thai name includes for reference.

with the right ingredients - holy moly this book is awesome. Super easy too
It's kind of hard to come by these ingredients, for ie; Cilantro ROOTS. So I had to grow Cilantro myself and then use the roots. No other stores or grocery stores sell Cilantro with the roots. Other than that, with the right ingredients - holy moly this book is awesome. Super easy too.

You too can cook Thai food at home!
Tom Kime’s unique philosophy renders Thai cooking surprisingly simple and accessible. A must for your kitchen library! Be aware, there’s some complex spicing that enhances the authenticity (hint: just order them) but techniques are generally within the realm of the average shelf.

Pages 50-64 are in German for some reason. The rest is English. It's fine because I can actually speak German but this is very odd and I did not realize until giving it to my husband as a gift (after the return deadline)

Best Cookbook Ever - Easily worth 10 times the price!
We have tried well over a dozen recipes from this thing, and have yet to find any recipe that isn't as good or better than the best recipes out of any other cookbook we've ever bought. It's utterly amazing.Tonight for instance we had a Hot & Sour Orange Curry with Salmon, and it was divine. Eating it, I had that holy grail feeling of having found a dish that had all of the flavor of a top-tier curry with almost none of the burn usually felt in a restaurant's variant. A delicious and complex set of flavors that almost brought tears to my eyes. The only downside really is that making the curry paste ourselves (recipe for it is included in the book) took a bit longer than advertised - but it was our first time doing so, so I suppose that is to be expected.We have other cookbooks, but they largely just get kinda set aside whenever there's something even remotely similar in this one, because it's just that good. It's honestly a little unfair to the competition, just how amazing every single dish is.The only thing it lacks is a comprehensive set of recipes from all over the rest of the world, too! But as far as Thai food goes - if you have the time and energy to cook, you will not find better Thai food than you can make from this cookbook. Not even the best restaurant will compare.As an aside, over the course of my life, I've developed an increasingly bad dairy allergy, and this book has been a godsend to me - because it opened my mind to a whole world of world-class dishes that don't need dairy at all. I've become a huge fan of cooking over time because of this book, and have found it improved my understanding of taste and flavor in other genres of cooking as well, which have allowed me to create or find recipes for other genres of food that I would have never imagined could exist without this cookbook showing me the way. My whole family has grown for having had this cookbook introduced to our lives.

A beautiful recipe book with brilliant illustrations
A beautiful recipe book with brilliant illustrations, but.....I own lots of Thai recipe books already and this one just isn't as good as the others. The recipes I have tried from this book so far don't come out that well. The book also keeps mentioning Red Pepper flakes which I haven't found in my usual Supermarkets, and have never used in Thai cooking before.I regret spending this much on this book. It's style over substance in my view.
