A quality product, very well built. Great Sound.
I have tested and compared the phinistec S7 with the phinistec Z6, the Surfans F20 and with two cell phones, using Poweramp, with plantronics backbeat sense, plantronics backbeat pro, SoundPEATS Opera05 headphones. I'm not going to go into much detail, both with mp3 and FLAC files. The sound is superior to any other device, the f20 has an excellent sound but the S7 lets you hear details very clearly that were not heard with the Z6 and the F20, I really don't understand users who don't like the experience of the User, this is not a smartphone, you just have to read the manual and enjoy what is important: the music.I make an update: there are small things that could be improved, one is the menus and translations, when they have an accent there is a space that should not exist, another and I consider the most important: there should be about three personalized equalization options, many of us use several headphones , and for each one a new equalization is needed, if there were several personalized ones, there would be no need to equalize every time you change hearing aids.

For the price very good dual dac but software needs work...Website Shows firmware Updates will come
1) Update distribution needs to be hidden. I do not need to reload 5K wav songs on a misclick.2) Sound is not bad. It is clean and clear. You get a full note quality. You get decent Depth and resolution. You get a very wide sound stage that many times is U shaped around your head. The sound stage is a bit further out then what I would like but it is an iteration of a music sound stage. For any entry level uses this DAP will be above expectations. For anyone with a mid tier or above DAP at $500 plus, then of course this may fall short but at $83 bucks it would be a great grab and go DAP! Balanced connection is a bit clinical and dry at times but clean and clear with that wide U sound stage. 3.5 is very good and conveys just a bit of texture that at times find more enjoyable. I usually prefer balanced connection on all my devices. Bluetooth works fine and also exhibits a sound stage as if your driving down a road, again U shaped around your car. I pefer a close sound stage as if you are in the band or secondary a sound stage in front of you. The U shaped takes a bit getting use to.3) Basically a black background.4) Fantastic build quality. Nice gold connectors.5) Was Able to load 5k plus songs. Put your playlist in a folder on top structure named AA. Then you can access your playlist.6)Nice gold wheel with decent click on volume change.7) High and Low Gain modes in settings.8) Only 4 digital filters9) Loading songs is typical speed for a sub 200 Dollar dap. Payed $83 bucks on black friday so amazing price.10) Scrolling speeds of 5K song list is not bad at all.11) Software and playlist implementation is very basic and needs alot of work. If I go to folders and scroll to my playlist folder and click on the MU3, the playlist actually work!12) For the price, you get a big LCD screen of Decent quality! Much bigger than most competitiors on the sub $200 market for DAPS.13) Tested with multiple IEM's Balanced connection: OG Monarch, Mele, Legacy 2, OG Olina, OG Clairvoyance, OG Oracle.14) Tested on 3.5 Connection: Simgot EA500 & Voyager 3 - Very decent sound from 3.5 connection!15) Album art does display properly!16) Size and weight is fantastic, holding in hands is fantastic! Build quality in hands fantastic! Feels quality. Giant screen for sub $200 dap. One of the best holding DAPs I have ever hand my hands on! This one cost $83 Bucks! I wish my R3 Pro Sabre were this size!!!17) For importing an existing playlist. Make a folder on the very top structure labeled AA. You can access it in folders at the top now. If the PC sees the MicroSD card as Drive I. Then for the format isI:\Folder Name18) Was able to load my 5K songs and they all show up properly.Daps & Dacs: Shanling Q1, Two R3 Pro Sabre bought 1.5 years apart (Sound a bit diffrent), Shanling M6 Pro, Shanling H6, SMSL 300SE, Asus STX, and Demo Tested extensively for purchase a Fiio K9 Pro ESS.19) IEMS tested mostly Balanced: OG Monarch, OG Clairvoyance, OG Olina, OG Oracle, TFZ Live 3, Legacy 3, Voyager 3, Mele, FH3, Blon 03, Blon 05, EA500.20) Balanced: HD600, HD650 3.5mm: Grado SR60, Ultrasone 780IBlanced is a bit dry and clinical.21) CPU processing just a bit underpowered to display all albums as you scroll. But to be fair my R3 Saber Pro do the same and they are double the price. I would say typical processing from a sub $300 to $400 dollar dap. This one is under a $100!Bought 3 on black friday deal. Tested all 3 to make sure they will and will be keeping all 3.Addendum First unit 3.5mm is musical, first unit the 2.5 balanced is clean and sterile but quite as musical. Started to use second unit and the 2.5 balanced is more musical and borders sillibant but overall more musical and I would say really sings. I would say there's little variations between each dap and that is normal. Even my two R3 pro sabres sound just a bit different. I tested the 3rd unit but have not really listened to it fully. Listened to second dap extended hours and have to say it is a fantastic sound! If the third unit sounds as good, haven't tested for extended sessions I'd get a 4th unit just to have around.

Very nice player
First of all, the review above sounds very like manufacturer wrote it, the amount of praise to the brand name and features is very suspicious, take that into consideration. Now, to the review. I've tried several brands of Chi-Fi players and this one comes out on top. Nice clean layout, swiping to get to other menus instead of hardware buttons (others may like the latter). 3.5 output powered sufficiently to drive a wide range of headphones, sound is clean and deafening at higher volumes. Load some FLAC files and appreciate the wide soundstage(depends on your headphones), clean power and all the details that come with lossless formats. It has Lo/Hi gain as well, which is nice. Main feature that pushed me towards this particular player is the Bluetooth, most of the players in this price range suffer from older Bluetooth versions, not the case here, 5.0 is plenty and it has wide range of codecs such as LDAC, ACC, aptX and others, selectable in the Bluetooth menu, BUT, the most important one is the Bluetooth volume boost! Other players I've tired sounded way quieter than this one, not deafening loud but sufficient to have freedom of wireless headphones/earbuds with nice music details. I would get this player again if lost or as a present.
