Great pet fountain - just needs frequent cleaning
This stainless steel water fountain has been wonderful for my pets (2 dogs & 1 cat)! They ALL love drinking from it, and the stainless steel design looks great in my home while being much more hygienic than plastic. It keeps the water fresh and encourages them to stay hydrated, which is a huge plus. However, I’ve found that it does need to be cleaned with every refill to avoid any buildup, which can be a bit of extra work. But considering how much my pets enjoy it and it's durability, I don’t mind. Overall, a great choice for pet owners willing to put in a little maintenance to keep their pets happy and healthy!

Hey, you asked me to review this and I got a lot to say, so...
I'm happy with this cat fountain. Before I got it I was wondering how big it would be. It's sometimes hard to judge from a picture when there's no reference point, and even if a picture shows a cat next to the fountain, cats come in different sizes, so.... I can honestly say that am really happy with the size. It's the size of a regular/small toaster so it's not an eyesore or an obstacle that needs to be carefully walked around. It's very quiet, I don't hear the motor at all. Once in a while I hear the sound of the water trickling slightly but in a house with normal activity you won't even remember it's there. It's easy to set up, easy to clean the few parts that should be checked for cleanliness as you expect to do. I like the porthole with the light that shines out of it to see the water level. At first I thought the light that shines through was deflective, but a simple adjustment of the filter around the motor gives you more or less light depending on how bright you want the light to glow at night. I've had the fountain for a month and I've only seen my cat drink from it a few times, but that's a cat issue, not a water fountain issue. And yet, my cat loves to drink running water from the bathroom sink, so go figure. That's why I bought this particular model, I thought it would mimic the running water the best. I must have looked at 50 videos on line before I made my choice. I'm happy with this fountain; the price and the quality is right, I wish the filters were cheaper, but we'll see how that goes down the line. I hope this helps you make your choice to keep your kitty happy and healthy. Gotta love those cats, they're the best aren't they?

100% worth it
I recently bought one and it works great, is quiet and all 6 of my cats started drinking from it. Bought a second one because of the success of the first one. Now I am considering a 3rd to replace the water bowl upstairs. Easly to clean, disassemble and reassemble, and great quality. The little window helps keep track of the water level. I love the fact that you can just plug it in and I don't have to worry about "charging it." I'm a forgetful person, I'd rather just plug and go.

Splish-Splash
Love the fountain! Easy to clean and holds a LOT of water. The cats love it, both drink in different ways which is why I picked this fountain over others. The bowl part holds a nice amount of water for the one that likes drinking the old fashioned way and the spout flows nicely not splashing around for my other cat! Its very quiet and I feel like I only have to refill it once a week.It is pretty easy to clean but make sure to look at ALL the cracks and crevasses! I thought I was cleaning it pretty well but I found out there's a lot more hidden compartments and parts inside the filter area that I was not getting! Something to keep in mind but not deter you from getting it!I've had this one for at least 3 months and its still going strong, no issues and both cats love it!

BOTH FOUNTAIN AND MOTOR/PUMP CLEAN EASILY
This fountain assembled quickly and the motor/pump is the easiest to clean of the many different brands I have had. The motor/pump comes apart easily and you can see all the areas that need to be cleaned at a glance. Other brands I have used have smaller motors that are not only hard to clean but make it easy to miss all the gunk (which ends up damaging the pump where it will no longer work). The only thing I would change would be to have a larger “window”. All of the fountains I have found with see-through bottoms have plastic bottoms and the water gets slimy. Plus one of my fur babies gets chin acne unless I use metal or glass. I highly recommend.

Clean water!
The media could not be loaded. First off... if you are wondering can you use this with kittens? Yes. At 6 weeks old my kittens were able to use this. I put placed a shoe box lid in front of it to act like a little step stool. They are 9 months now and they can easily drink from it without assistance. I chose this one because of the design. The water flows on top of a stainless steel lid and then flows down to the storage area where the main water tank is as well as the filter. Because of that when my kittens walk over it, they don't make a mess everywhere like they used to. They used to spill or knock over the water dish and make a mess everywhere. They also used to track food or litter in the water. Now if they do, the sponge traps any debris and filters our clean water. But because it's a lot larger than the old water dish, they walk over it less than before. It has a large water capacity so it reduces the amount of times you have to refill it. I still regularly put fresh water in it and clean it. It's made out of quality materials and the devices is extremely quiet. The only thing you really hear is the flowing water and even that is very quiet. I like the little window into the tank. It lights up so it's easy to see where the water dish is at night in the dark and also it allows you to see the water level so you know when you have to refill it. My only complaint is that I wish the filters lasted more than a week. It recommends refilling the filter every week. So keep in mind that you have to continue to buy the filters and sponges regularly if you want it to filter the water. Otherwise you can just have the water flow and not filter it. This is not a battery operated water dish. It requires being plugged into an outlet. So if you have kittens that like to chew cords, you need to keep that in mind as well. But just a trick, wrap the cord in tinfoil and they will learn not to chew the cord. No issues with the device so far. Oh and it's also really easy to clean.

Quiet, easy to see how full it is and perfect size for two small dogs
I'm absolutely delighted with this pet water fountain! The first thing I noticed was how incredibly quiet it is - no more annoying gurgling or bubbling sounds to disturb me or my furry friends. The design is also very thoughtful, with a clear window that makes it easy to see when it needs to be refilled. And the size is perfect for my two small dogs, who love drinking from the flowing stream. The fountain is easy to clean and maintain, and the adjustable flow rate means I can customize it to my dogs' preferences. Overall, I'm so impressed with this product and would highly recommend it to any pet owner looking for a reliable and quiet water fountain for their fur babies!

It is awesome. Cats love it, but took a bit of getting used to for them.

Easy for a determined and smart cat to disassemble
The product works as the seller describes and is certainly easy to disassemble and clean. That is also the problem. While the top tray is nicely recessed below the top of the container, the grey plastic "handle" at the back that makes it easy for a human to grab is extremely easy for a cat to grab. As you can see from the pictures, it is not clamped on. It just sits there. Right from the start, I added the quick link you see in the picture to keep one mischievous cat from lifting the lid off. He studied the fountain for two hours, watching where the water went, trying to hook the edge of the lid with his claws, trying to bite the metal near the handle, and then trying to claw the water return slot with freshly-trimmed claws. He wasn't just entertained; he was evaluating. It took him three days to figure out (with now-sharp claws) how to hook the lid and remove it. We have tried various positions with the single quick link and he has thwarted every one of them. I will definitely be picking up three more links. I may actually drill four holes to completely close the links. I will say that the fountain doesn't splash or make a mess on its own. It is really and truly a quiet motor, and I am pleased to say that having the pump running dry for at least an hour after the cat pulled the lid off did not alter its performance.Side note on cats: if you have one of those cats that opens cupboards and drawers, hangs on the back of kitchen chairs, spends time on the tops of doors, and climbs up the water pipes to get into your drop ceiling, your cat will figure out how to dissemble this quickly. (Cat food should NOT have brain-enhancing DHAs).With regard to cleaning, the seller provided a useful little brush. The unit washes quite easily. With three cats, I find that most of the hair gets caught in the first filter below the water return. Some does make it into the bottom. As long as your cat hasn't rearranged the tray and the position of the pump, the foam filter will stay in place and keep hair out of the pump. I didn't read the instructions when I first put it together and missed putting the first filter in, so I had a bit of hair in the water and a little bit stuck on the pump intake. Since the unit came with one foam filter installed, I just added the second foam filter for extra insurance against hair. I find that a little slime will build up by day four (this would happen with ANY style of fountain) so it is important for sanitation to clean it more often than that. The bottom line: Our three cats are definitely drinking more water now, so we are keeping the water fountain for its many good qualities, just adding more cat-proofing.

Very simple set-up.
I will update after a month of using this fountain, but as of this moment, I am extremely satisfied. My cats immediately started drinking from it, and they seem to enjoy it.I have 4 kittens who have been drinking from a fountain since they were old enough to do so, and I was concerned about them being confused with the new shape & water flow but they seemed to get the hang of it pretty easily.I bought the filter combination and it was very simple to set up, I hardly needed the instructions.
