As described, they are great for making boil in bag meals to take hiking or camping.

I used to buy the rolls and make the pouches myself to freeze meat when we buy it in bulk, but I gave these a go and I will never be going back! The quality of these bags is so much better - the plastic is thicker and the raised pattern is more defined, so air can be sucked out much more easily. They also seem to seal a lot better - I always had to double-seal the bags from the roll, but these are completely fine with just one.If you're still tempted by the rolls, run the numbers on how many bags you actually get from one roll. We did, and these worked out to only be about a penny more each. Well worth it for the time saved and better quality! If they stop only one thing from leaking they'll have paid for themselves!

After struggling with other brands that didn't either vacuum properly or didn't seal correctly I thought something was wrong with my machine, but no - just buy these bags!They are very good quality and they vacuum and seal perfectly first time, every time.I won't be wasting my money on any other brand from now on.

On my second box..Great value compared to the rolls, I still use rolls as my sealer has built in compartment & cutter.Using man maths, it's more economical with these bags than rolls, but I do miss the flexibility afforded to cutting to a custom size.These have provided an excellent seal every time; may be it's my vacuum sealer?Most importantly, I can cut in half and seal to provide two adequate sized bags for my sous vide cooking.For the price, I'm yet to see a better product available!

These are good quality bags, got through the entire pack with no faulty ones and they seal well, and obviously souvide perfectly fine.For reference ive found them Big enough to hold a couple good steaks, though slightly too small for a tomahawk. (How's that for a measurement?)

This is probably the cheapest sealer bags on the market however its very good quality and works perfectly with my sealer; The package comes with 100 bags! I use them to keep my food fresher on my fridge and freezer. It's definitely a "MUST" for everyone who has a vacuum sealer.

Good bags, big enough to be cut in half for small things.
