Feels super smooth with pen and is a quality product

I've always wanted to try out Kokuyo's Campus notebook, even though I don't actually need it for school. My primary curiosity stems from the renowned paper quality that the Japanese are known for, even in their budget products. While I've seen plenty of lovely color schemes paired with this popular Japanese notebook, it's never quite as bulky as our traditional composition notebooks. However, it took the allure of a Spy X Family theme to finally entice me to snatch up some Campus notebooks for myself.Spy X Family is undeniably one of the funniest, sweetest, and action-packed anime series I've had the pleasure of watching.And the Kokuyo Campus notebook lives up to its reputation. The paper inside offers a genuinely polished smoothness that can handle various types of writing instruments. Being an avid fountain pen user, I was eager to see how it compared to the Western paper varieties I have at my disposal at home. The difference was noticeable. Campus's paper is exceptionally smooth, minimizing friction and feedback. Writing on its surface with my fountain pen is an absolute pleasure.My only disappointment is that each notebook contains only 30 pages. This had me wondering how it could possibly be used for school notes, as the notebooks I used in my grade school years were typically crammed with written notes. No doubt, cultural differences, and methodologies play a role here. Nevertheless, this slim design makes these notebooks highly portable, which is certainly a plus. You can fill up a notebook, set it aside at home, and carry only a working notebook with you. I can certainly appreciate the practicality of this approach.But let's get real here—the primary reason to get these notebooks is because they feature Spy X Family! Just look at this adorable, make-believe family. They may be fictional, but they're endearing nonetheless. You're essentially getting good-quality paper notebooks with the added charm of Spy X Family. It's a win-win.

I actually didn't order these for the fact that they were anime themed, I just wanted an excuse to try this brand of notebooks, which are usually around the same price point for a pack this size anyway. I like that they're light weight, and able to fit into a slim bag. I HATE carrying around a bunch of weight when I need to travel, so versatile, compact items are a must for my needs. And I'd say these suit quite well. The paper is decent quality, and the notebooks are slim as I mentioned already, and they're not so rigid that it feels like there's a board against my back while I walk.My one complaint is that the ruling is 7mm, I personally prefer much smaller ruling for notes, but I know that ~7mm is the standard in a lot of places. So it was expected, tbh. But yeah, if you like anime themed notebooks for school or whatever these aren't too bad, they didn't jack the price up a bunch, you get 5 notebooks per pack and something to show as merch for everyday use. Not bad if you ask me.

The back designs are adorable too.If you're not familiar with the Campus notebooks, these are reputable for their thin,creamy, and smooth paper. They are dotted lined notebooks that are great for your everyday use but you can use them for drawing line numbers and graphs for math. These notebooks are always greaf for a writing experience. Not recommended if you want to use markers, the ink actually bleed through the next page. Ghosting is unavoidable with other pens, but not too bad.It does mention in the item description that these are japanese imported, which gives that plus factor knowing it came from there. Overall, very happy with the item. And i love seeing Spy x Family on here.

Initially had a problem with my order where the shrink wrap was opened and half the notebooks were replaced with random other ones. Issued a replacement and got what I ordered. Quick processing turn around.Ten notebooks with 2 each of 5 pastel colors. Theyre a cute gift or an excellent staple to keep stocked in your stationery collection. College ruled. Very smooth and soft paper, surprisingly durable for its thinness, as expected of kokuyo. Highly recommend their products, despite hiccup upon first arrival

If you have never had the pleasure of using kokuyo products, you’re in for a treat. These notebooks are thin and flexible, a little smaller than the US letter size. The paper is super smooth and has minimal bleed through. The ruling is closer to a college rule, but has these little dots about every 1/4”, which allows you to space things out better, or draw perfect boxes around your titles. (I’m sure it was more for Japanese character placement, but it works great for my notes, too). I find these are so much easier to shove into a bag than a spiral, and by the time I fill them, I’m ready to reward my hard work with a fresh notebook. The spy x family anime is still available on hulu.

While one of these would fit in my purse, I also carry a mom bag. These notebooks are a great size for taking notes on different subjects. They'll fit in a bookbag very well.They're thin notebooks. For the price, this is a great set. They have different images, and all the images are nicely detailed. They're bright, they're great looking, and they're useful, so they're excellent, useable, useful merch for a fan of the show.These aren't super thick, so they wouldn't be a primary notebook for tons of notes on subjects. I'm a crafter, so I'll use one for sublimation projects for times, temps, sizes, orders, etc. I'll use another for resin crafting. I'll use another for bookings at shows and to track those expenses, addresses, etc. Since they're all different, I can sort which is which easily.I'm super happy with these. I guess students would be happy with them too, lol. They can also be used as party favors or prizes, maybe. I'd buy again. I'd love more shows to choose from as sets as well.

I really like the B5 size of these, as I find A5 notepads too small. The binding is really strong, and the paper is good quality. Print art on the covers is really good quality too. They sit quite flat when they are open, which as a left-handed writer I really appreciate. Love Kokuyo stationery!
