Mostly good, as long as it's not rubbing on sharp edges
I've bought a number of these. The first two ripped over the course of an 800 mile trip. The sharp edges on the computer mount on the handlebars wore through them. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of options for similar products, so I bought some more for this year's trip. So, I jury rigged some pads from folded duct tape to cover the sharp edges and temporarily stuck them to the computer mount, and there was no damage at all during this year's 1800 mile trip.

Fits my 58cm bike and protects as it should.
Don’t understand the fit issues others are having. This fit my 58cm Cannondale just fine. Very snug, but you need it that way for secure protection at highway speeds. I used this to protect my bike over 5 days from one end of Oregon to the other. Often at highway (passing) speeds of 80+ mph and 600+ miles. The important thing this serves in protecting the head tube from getting the grease blown out from high wind, let alone the bug splats. This works! And is holding up without issue.

Caused damage to my car
I used the Scicon Bike Defender for the first, and last time, last week. This product created an uplift condition that dislodged one side of my bike rack so that this side rotated back and down smashing into, and shattering my rear window (luckily I always secure my bike with bungee cords so it remained on the rack and was not damaged) We were 75 miles into a 500 mile weekend trip when this occurred and had to return to drop off the car for repair and then rent a van to load our tandem so we could continue on the trip while our car was being repaired. This was the first time I had used this product and have previously transported our tandem on the same rack for numerous long trips without any problems. The end result is that the SCICON Road Bike Defender cost me around $500 in repair and rental costs. So in addition to what other reviewers report about its impact on gas mileage it also has the potential to generate an aerodynamic lift that can cause a bike rack to be dislodged with subsequent damage to either a bike or car. Not a product I would ever recommend using.

Excellent so far
Excellent so far. We have driven nearly 2000 miles and it has done its job. The only thing that would make this better would be if the straps that hold the bra down to the forks were a little smaller. This would allow it to protect almost all of the forks.Good protect will by again!

If you want to keep your bike clean ...
If you want to keep your bike clean on a road trip, this will do the job! I took mine out on a 650 mile drive over Memorial Day weekend and they worked perfectly! It'll protect everything from hitting your bike, even pollen (see pics). The only downside is that it creates significant drag ... Because of this my fuel economy was lessened. You can't have it all.

Works well but needs a little improvement.
Worked as expected on our two bikes on a 600-mile road trip. It helped reduce wind noise by allowing the air to flow more smoothly around the bikes, but did increase the wind drag while driving. The bikes were spared from gnats and bugs. I just wish they were a little stronger.

Mostly works well, but coverage gaps and seems delicate.
Seems to do the job. Did 800 x 2 drive between home and second home at 75+mph.Pros: No significant noise and mostly kept bugs off.Cons: Does not cover lower part of fork well. Does not protect cranks and derailleur from bugs. Seems delicate, so lifetime remains to be seen.

Good cover if you travel with your bike.
Bought these for a trip through the Southwest US. They kept the bugs off the bikes on a 2100 mile trip. Easy to put on and take off. There ore no instructions but they can only go on one way so not too bad. I would look for a cheeper item at another large online bike shop were I to buy new ones.

Figure it's probably best for keeping the flies etc. off
Only used the once so far... did the job. Kept new road bike protected while transporting on roof rack through some serious rain. Figure it's probably best for keeping the flies etc. off during warm dry spells. No damage to fabric over 400 miles. Better than expected given mixed reviews.

Not a great fit and if you have Di2 it makes constant contact with your shifters, killing your battery and potentially damaging your gears.
