I ordered this for my husband who takes a 7 7/8th size hat. As others have noted it ships direct from China so took several weeks to arrive, but we received it in time for an extended vacation to Florida. Having worn it every day in the hot sun for two weeks he's totally sold, claiming he has never had a more serviceable hat that actually fit! Yes, the brim has some folds in it and it won't win any awards for looks, but that's not its purpose. It was comfortable, light weight, kept the blazing sun of his bald head and neck, and the strap made it easy to secure to a belt loop or shoulder pouch strap when not in use. The most important thing, however, was that it fit! He could wear it all day without getting the headaches which too-small ball caps or other hats always seem to cause. So if you don't care about looks this it the hat to get!

I’m not normally hat guy but it seems to do the trick for avoiding the sun. Wish it came in a bit bigger size but alas. I have a big head so don’t let that perturb you from buying

First this sun hat really fits comfortable. I have extremally big head. It is always a challenge finding any hat fits my giant head. Well, XL/XXL is actually a bit too big. It is a bit heavier side compare to my OR sun hat, but acceptable. I can tell you that this may be a good sun hat, but it is not waterproof. I tested it under moderate rain just now. My head got soak and wet.

I love this hat because it is the first hat fits my larger head and thick hair!!! It's lightweight, too. I've always just worn visors becauseI couldn't find a hat that fit. Dealing with skin cancers, I needed something that covered well, fit good, and that I could secure so it wouldn't blow off on the beach. It arrived before expected date which was a plesant surprise. I would buy it again.

I waited for the supply chain to catch up and start making XXL Boonie hats, and this is the first one that came through. Yes, it’s a little flimsy. But for the cost, it’s a very fair price for the item. I wear it in frequently, but so far it has worked fine. It’s my big Noggin.

Finally a wide hat for big heads. Husband has a hard time finding hats when landscaping under the sun 🌞. Fits great, adjustable string for windy days and shading to protect his full face

After previously buying two XL hats from other companies, I found one that fits large heads like mine. It also folds into a small size, which makes it easy for travel.

It does indeed fit a large head as described. Rim could be more rigid as it tends to flap in the wind.
