healthy source of iodine
This is my second purchase. I like the idea of it being a salt substitute and as a healthy source of iodine to add to the diet easily which was the predominant reason for purchasing. It's quite an expensive product hence not full marks for value for money. However having said that, a little does go a long way. After the packet is opened it remains fresh for ages because of the quality of the seal. I sprinkle a little at the cooking stage in legume dishes for it's health properties and on salad, avocado or eggs. It's not to everyone's liking as there is a very, very subtle seaweedy taste. It does indeed give a saltiness and an enhancement to flavours. In terms of convenience, if wanting to incorporate seaweed/iodine into the diet and reduce salt, it's perfect - easier than using seaweed strips. A reason for this particular brand choice was the supply chain which appears to take care in sourcing clean uncontaminated seaweed off the coast of Scotland. Having bought other seaweeds in the past, I'm happy to recommend this particular product and have gifted it to others.

A nice flavour to fish just wish it could be a little bit bigger
If it was slightly bigger it could be more value for money
