Whilst I'm more likely to win the Euromillions than take a selfie (especially with a selfie stick) something I have been interested in finding is a desktop tripod for my phone. I often record myself recording openings of expensive ebay items etc for proof, and find myself trying to do this one-handed, which is next to impossible.This has proven to be a near perfect solution from COLORLIZARD. It's a two-in-one device, that folds into itself into a pretty compact unit (think lightsabre sized!) It's quite stiff to prize the legs out the first time, but seems to improve from there. Doing this shall automatically popup the telescopic pole (extendable to around 34inches), this feels well designed. The pole is aluminium and so feels strong and capable. If just using the shortest tripod option, I believe it sits around 9inches high. Perfect for a desktop setup.The "clamp" that holds the phone is extendable, and feels like it grips well. I use a Samsung S9 and it fits fine, but I do feel a very wide phone might struggle, especially if using a case. It suits me perfectly though.I'm removing a star for one reason (I'd have liked to give 5*s, but it falls just short imo). I find that when I extend the pole to test the selfie stick functionality, if you fold in the tripod legs and try to use it as a handle, it feels quite flimsy. I presume this is because it's now hollow with everything extended, but I'm not sure I'd be that confident if I had a brand new phone taking a selfie somewhere with a drop! I feel like if they firmed that area up, then this would be a perfect allrounder. Especially for £26, which feels like good value for money.Easy to chuck in a bag/backpack, reasonably quick to unfurl once used to it and it comes bundled with a Bluetooth remote so you can take ranged photos without having to ask some stranger! In theory this has a range of up to 33ft. It's lightweight (under 200g), has two colour options, and is definitely worth your consideration if you're looking for a selfie stick, or a nice sturdy desktop tripod for your phone. Good item.

I would say it is a bit pricy for a selfie stick - even one that doubles as a stand. The remote control feature is a neat idea and does work provided the stand is set up somewhere where it can't be knocked over easily.Otherwise well made and fairly sturdy quality. Can't fault it does work as expected.

Whilst it feels slightly heavy in the hand when first using I realise that this gives better stability and a sensation of durability. As a ‘selfish stick’ to get in the way of passers by whilst I pout and strut my thang as the sunsets next to my perfectly positioned cocktail - it does the job nicely… firm multi position mounting and Bluetooth shutter release button. But what I love is its use as a very compact and height adjustable tripod for taking photos or film. No hand wobble, isn’t go to fall over, less blur and the afore mentioned Bluetooth button is detachable so can be as remote. Didn’t think I needed one til I had one. Not 5 stars? Well I now own a sticky thing and I am now part of the ‘Insta’ generation

Didn’t know quite what to expect as my experience of selfie sticks in the past has not been exactly the best!But I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked the sturdy little box and found what was a well built, quality selfie stick with a tripod, the tripod legs are a bit stiff but this is probably because it’s new and it will probably get easier with use.The selfie stick is good length and there is even a handy little blue tooth remote control that is stored in a little indentation on the stick.The phone holder/ mount is a bit fiddly it does have a spring loaded extension part so it can hold various phone sizes but mine is in a case so it needs to be taken out our it’s case to fit the selfie stick which is a bit annoying as the case helps keep phone safe from accidental damage ( my case is a folio type),some types of thin fitting cases shouldn’t cause a problem.

This arrived nicely packed in a branded box.Inside the box, the selfie stick is wrapped in a polythene sheath. Also in the box is an instruction booklet - easy to follow and understand, and a USB-micro USB charging cable.The micro usb charging cable is a disappointment as most phones now have a USB-C connector and their cables are much longer and therefore more useful.The selfie stick stands out from most due it's lovely white and gold accented colour.It looks very well made with good looking lines and all moveable parts fold up and align perfectly.It's a bit tricky to open as the tripod parts form a lock on the telescopic pole, but once you figure it out (and the instructions really help) it is relatively simple.It is very stiff though (this may ease with use). This is not a bad thing for a selfie stick as it is not going to move whilst in use.However, the same principle doesn't apply to the part that holds your phone.My Samsung S20 is a largish phone. It fits easily into the grippers and holds tight enough for me not to worry about it slipping out, however, once secured the hinge part is very loose and prone to flopping down.It depends on the angle you are trying to get. Standard arm length selfies should be ok but anything more adventurous and the phone flips down.Smaller, lighter phones shouldn't have this problem.It's a pity, because everything else works very well and is very secure.The phone pairs simply with an easy to find ColorLizard ID and operates the shutter on your phone.The button can be removed easily to use as a remote control and the range is sufficient for anything that I could envisage using it for.A really nice looking selfie stick.Lightweight.Ballpark price pointLet down only by its rather loose hinge on the phone holder (should be OK for smaller, lighter phones)

The gold and white design is stylish and the included wireless Bluetooth remote made taking selfies and group photos a breeze.The tripod function was also handy for getting steady shots. However, I did have some difficulty with the controls. It took some time to figure out how to turn it on and off, and it wasn't the most practical or quick process.Despite this, I would still recommend the product for its versatility and design.

Works well with my samsung, easy to use.Took it on holiday and used it every day. Love it. Would recommend.

This is great if you want to get that selfie or need a stand to hold your phone up so you can record videos for tik tok etc. I use this to have a stand for when I'm in the tub and need a sturdy stand. (I've dropped my phone in the bath at least 6 times) The remote is Bluetooth so pair it to the phone and it can be used to start/stop/capture a video/picture. Just press and hold the button till it turns on, and the same thing to turn it off. The remote can be recharged with a micro usb cable. The holder is retractable and it's hidden in the base. Looks sleek and minimal. The stick is small and compact. The extended height is decent, but as I'm a tall person, it's not long enough. At £25.96, it is affordable. The previous one I got cost more, but it's longer and the stick is bigger. Ideal for holidays or traveling wherever so you can get those amazing vacation snaps without asking someone (No need to worry if someone will run off with your device)

Great quality selfie stick with tripod. This is a really great selfie stick with Bluetooth remote. The remote pairs easily with my phone. This is so much easier than the usual selfie sticks that you have to hold while taking pictures, you just set it up on the tripod then join in the picture and click the remote. This is great for family get togethers when everyone wants to be in the pictures. It is quite stiff to open but at least you know it won't just slide down when your taking the pictures. Nice and compact and lightweight so easy to carry in your bag on days out.

This attractive white and gold Colour Lizard product is robustly constructed in aluminium and plastic, and it is suitable for all sorts of cameras. It has a dual purpose as a selfie stick extension arm to allow a wide field of view and as a tripod for hands-free taking photographs or videoing. It may be used as a static aid for holding a mobile phone, but its sophisticated use is as an electronic device with Bluetooth Connectivity.There is a built-in rechargeable battery, a charging cable (USB-micro), and a remote controller (attached to and readily removed from the selfie stick). Nice selfistick you can turn it into tripod aswell however Tripod is well-built. It's a little challenging to open the expanding phone clasp, and it feels fragile. Bluetooth connection is straight forward

This is fabulous. So easy to use, easy to assemble and store away. It is fabulous! I've used it as just a selfie-stick which is great, and also using it with the tripod is just as good. The remote can remain attached to the stick or you can take it off for remote clicking. It made a group of us smile when I was setting it up to take photos, and that's worth any money. It's a decent price too for what you get. I've paid more than this and been disappointed, but this is small enough to stick in a bag and so great for touristy places etc. Highly recommended.
