That pinecone in the picture fooled me; it's really fairly small. Still, the dies are lovely, and I'll certainly find many uses for them. The dies aren't large, but they aren't miniature either...they just surprised me a bit by being smaller than I thought they would be. A definite plus: they feel a little sturdier than the flimsy, bend-if-you-look-at-them-sideways dies I've been buying, whether brand-name or knock-off. All thin dies, regardless of brand recognition or not, need to be viewed with a slightly jaundiced eye: $5 or $45, some of them are going to turn out to be garbage, so if you can't check it out in a store, you're taking a risk no matter what the cost. This one was a great little purchase!
