Finally, a cat litter mat that works really well! I have been using another product that is quite frequently found in litter supplies at the store. They were rubber, roundish, with raised nubs to capture litter. They offered an improvement over not using anything, however they still left a lot to be desired and each pad was small, just a few inches across, so I was using two. For what I paid for those two mats, I was able to purchase the Koonie premium cat litter mat. What a difference! For one thing it is far more attractive than many others. Secondly, these are truly a mat, so the cat will walk farther on it shedding more litter. This product is easy to clean with a vacume cleaner, and the bottom is solid and looks as though it would stop any accidents from seeping through to the floor. I highly recommend this product, and I am sure both you and your feline friend(s) will be happy!

This mat is not only generous in size, but great texture that holds down the spread of litter outside the box. BOth my adult cat and kitten have plenty of room to "wipe their feet" after taking care of business. It really keeps down that residual mess, easy to clean up after and durable.The texture as a side benefit is a great scratching spot for young claws without showing any wear or tear. It's also easily cleaned up.

This would work absolutely fantastic if my cats did not purposefully scoop up litter in their paws and dump it all the way down the mat plus an extra foot past that. I would need my entire floor to be covered in this mat in order to keep litter contained! I am even using one of the best covered litter boxes with a flap door and high reviews. I swear my cats do it on purpose. Spite. That's what it is. Spite.UPDATE: I have been using this mat for a couple of months now. My cats are still tracking beyond the mat - despite me having it laid perpendicular (long end) in front of the litter box. So they are tracking a good 3 ft. away...I attempted to vacuum the mat, but vacuuming doesn't work. What works is you have to shake and beat the mat like you would your grandma's porch rug. Then, all of the grains of litter comes out. I was amazed at how clean the mat looked after shaking it out (and then vacuuming the pile on the floor after shaking out). I would recommend doing this outside. My tired brain didn't think of that... The only downside to this mat that I have found, is that you never, ever, EVER get water on the mat while there is trapped litter. Just don't.

When first opening the package, there was a strong rubber smell, but I unfolded it and hung it outside overnight on my railing and was pleasantly surprised the following morning that the odor was completely gone. The mat appears to be well made, soft upper layer which is textured. I bought the gray mat which matches the litter box, and parts of the clumping litter too (which also has some white pieces). I was using, and will continue using, a crumb sweeper. I was surprised how well it worked to sweep up the litter. I am well pleased with this mat.

When I first got the litter mat, I couldn’t believe how large it was! I put one mat under two litter boxes and one under a toy near the entrance of the litter room and the mat was heavy enough to lie flat on the ground without any additional help and stays in place. One thing I liked was the fact that the cats were not afraid nor did it smell where the cats were afraid to be near it. They even seem to like lying down on it! Great product, does what is asked and is a very good size unlike some of the other ones on the market. The design is also very pleasing and the color is sleek!

I bought this on Amazon Prime day, and got it for a good price. It works wonders in catching kitty litter, and the one I ordered is a good size. I'm not sure it IS easy to clean. Its better looking than some of the rugs I've had in the past. The rug catches the little pieces of kitty litter that the Cat kicks out. When I shake it out, I don't think the pieces all come out, but its hard to tell. I recently vacuumed it, and that helped. It keeps the floor of the bathroom much cleaner.

I ordered this litter mat to replace a smaller mat I was using previously. I didn't realize until after I ordered how big this is! I easily covers the corner area where I keep my kitty's litter box. It does a good job with reducing the litter tracking onto my floors, and due to the size I am able to give my cat a lot more space to walk off any litter that is still on his paws. My only minor complaint is that I wish it came in a black color so I could more easily see how much litter is on the mat. I would definitely recommend this product!

I was so tired of chasing kitty litter all over my house that this item was a dream. It has a unique texture that captures the litter from my girls paws as they leave the box. I coupled this with the Ecoflex Litter Loo, a box that hides the litter box and is decorate and sturdy. My kitty litter problem has reduced by at least 95%. I highly recommend the investment.
