especially if you like “boom boom” headphones
I received this item in exchange for an honest review. I did a bit of comparing of these to my existing set of Bose QC headphones (the on-ear version, wired version – they’re about 10 years old :P) as well as a few other sets of headphones I had lying around including the Bose SoundSport wireless, and a cheapo set of earbuds. End of the day a decent bang for your buck, especially if you like “boom boom” headphones, but do keep in mind they aren’t going to stack up to headsets that cost 3-5x the price because they are a headset that costs 1/3 to 1/5 the price of those higher end headsets.Build Quality (6/10)Overall the build quality does leave something to be desired as it is largely made of plastic but then again my personal benchmark is built around far more expensive headphones. That being said I think the addition of some metal in the headband would go a long way in making the headset feel more substantial and less “flimsy.” Marketing materials claim the headband is “Ultra flexible” and to the sellers credit I haven’t broken mine yet but I also haven’t been able to bring myself to bend them as far as they have in their pictures. I cringe just looking at that picture. (I’ll update this post with a video later) The junction and action of where the ear cups meet the headphones feels good/durable.The folding action and junction do make me a little concerned about long term durability but they do perform the function they are designed to perform. They feel just fine on my head (I have a fat head) and I had no discomfort wearing them upwards of 2 hours although they did get a little warm on my ears (I surmise that’s simply a reality that has to be dealt with when you’re dealing with over-ear headphones so I don’t really consider it a negative here).Sound Quality (6/10)Overall sound quality is decent. The sheer power and volume of the low end reproduction is impressive however there are some drawbacks. The low end had a tendency to sound “muddy” or “muffled” when the noise cancellation was off. This was noticeable when listening to low-end heavy music such as rap/hip hop. The low end tightens up when the noise cancelling is turned on however the entire sound profile becomes a little unnatural, hollow even. I’m hardly an audiophile so unfortunately it’s beyond my ability to describe the sound beyond those adjectives. Keeping in mind that pretty much all noise cancelling headsets I’ve tried to have an impact on sound quality and the price point of these headphones I’m reasonably satisfied with the performance.Call Quality (5/10)Call quality on the listening side is good. Noise cancelling works well for listening (not as good as but comparable to the Bose QC on-ears). The in-line mic delivers a listening experience to the receiver similar to that of speakerphone or any mid-low end in-line mic found on other headphones as best as I can surmise from my experience. Suffice to say, it leaves something to be desired in terms of sound quality to the receiver. It works but don’t expect an upgrade from any other inline mic. Seems these puppies are designed more for listening than for taking calls – so keep that in mind as well.

Great for travel, and great sound quality too
I have a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M50x monitor headphones (which are $150), so I'm kind of comparing this to those, even though this pair is a quarter the price of those. Kind of apples and oranges, but whatever. One difference that I noticed right away is that these are much lighter than the M50x. The construction is noticeably more plastic-y, as the earpieces are connected with plastic as opposed to the M50x's metal, but that's fine considering the price difference. The light weight is ideal for travelling. As far as sound quality, this pair has some quality sound drivers- the bass is really powerful. Music sounds good. Quality is admittedly not quite as accurate as the M50x, but these are more for everyday use and casual listening, whereas the M50x is for audiophiles and professional use. That said, audio on these is definitely not disappointing, and bass is punchier than the M50x (consider though, that this one has a rechargeable battery built-in, which supposedly lasts 20 hours, and that adds power to the drivers, and also powers the noise cancellation, see below). Because it's powered, bass sounds really powerful even coming from my phone. As for looks, well, you can see the pictures. I like them. The headphones fit pretty well on my head, and I have a large head. I haven't worn them terribly long yet but they're at least as comfortable as the M50x. I don't really feel them on my head. This pair does have a few neat features that the M50x does not have though. For one, it has noise cancellation. Now this may not be Bose-level noise cancellation, but turning it on, I can't hear low tones from outside at all. High tones still come through, but this is mainly meant for things like airplanes where the noise is low-pitch. This would certainly be handy for travel. It comes with an airplane earphone jack adapter too which is neat, and it folds into a convenient hardshell case that comes with it. Note though that noise cancellation does affect the bass in music, and probably not recommended if you're in a quiet environment.Another feature this has is a call button. Clicking once will answer or end calls if plugged into a phone. Clicking twice will skip to the next song, and clicking three times will go to the previous song. Pretty handy.A couple NBs: when you first use them, the sound may be really strange and tinny. That's likely cause the battery is dead. Just plug it in and it will charge and sounds fine; for me it charged fully in just a few minutes, which is interesting. Also for some reason, holding down the call button improved the sound quality on low battery. It says 20 hours for the battery, but if you're planning lengthy travel, I might consider bringing a portable USB charger or an outlet-USB adapter. You can listen to music on a dead battery but it sounds very strange.Overall, for the $40 I paid for them, these are great quality headphones for travel purposes, and good for general listening purposes. I will continue to use my M50x for at-home use simply because they cost 4 times as much and do have more accurate sound, but for travelling or using with my phone, this guy is a lot more convenient and has more useful features (plus if I lose them, I'm not out $150). For the price, I doubt you could find much better travel or general-purpose headphones out there.

Noise cancelling is almost non-existant
Not worth the $70 I paid for these. 🙄They are not as compact as I had hoped; yes I saw the dimensions before I purchased them🤦🏻♂️The "noise cancelling" when turned on, is a very noticeable 'white noise' that seems to block lower frequencies from ambient sounds, but it leaves a lot to be desired if you think these are going to solve the problem of screaming babies in airplane cabins. 🤯📢👶🏼💺✈️

Good
Sound when using with my phone is good, when using with the computer not so good. Music comes through fine, vocals come through so weak that you can barely make them out.
