BODUMBistro Nouveau Tea Press, Borosilicate Glass, Plastic Infuser - 1.5 L, Black

I chose this teapot because it had the built in infuser that you can decide to use or not use and the pot itself has a large capacity.I really like this teapot cause you can have loose leaf tea in it and tea bags. The lid does feel a little flimsy because it doesn't click down but since using it, I haven't had any problems To report. It also comes with its own heat mat so you don't need to always be finding something to put underneath it.Great Bodum product. The handle is made of plastic so doesn't heat up at all and all the parts can go into the dishwasher.Love it!

I had the spherical glass bodum teapot before but my husband dropped it so thought we'd try this one. It has a great capacity and it's well made but couple of niggles in that it takes ages to fill - the tea container holes start quite high up so you have to fill and wait, fill and wait to get a decent amount of tea into the pot. Important to remember to line up all the parts (much easier on the other model) to avoid mess. You can remove the central tea container and then replace the plunger as lid to use tea bags. Easy to clean. Comes with corkboard base which very useful.Overall it does the job.

This has to be the worst teapot I've ever bought. The plunger doesn't sit snugly in the lid and both the lid and plunger wobble about. The handle is flimsy and the stainless steel band it's attached to moves. The holes in the infuser don't go all the way to the bottom and you have to fill up the pot. Lastly, the spout is so shallow that the tea pours from both sides of it. Don't waste your money ...

Gewohnte Qualität und Verabeitung von Bodum. Der Deckel liegt nicht stramm auf, weil dort unter das Sieb befestigt ist. Finde ich persönlich aber nicht schlimm, da ich beim eingießen eh immer mit der linken Hand den Deckel festhalte.

Ottimo prodotto come sempre di qualità. Lo uso per la bollitura posto direttamente su un piano di vetroceramica. Peccato non si possa usare il coperchio senza lo stantuffo!
