Simple, smart looking shoe
This Whittin Canvas She is my second barefoot shoe. I resisted barefoot shoes for a long time because I thought they were just for young runners, but for a senior like me who cares more about comfort than fashion, they have made me a fan. However, I find it essential to wear them with orthotics. Mine are custom made. The liner in the shoes are removable. These shoes are not meant to be sturdy, supporting or even long lasting. But they are super comfortable with a toe that allows plenty of wiggle room. My first pair was like walking on a cloud, but the mesh left my feet chilly when the temperature got colder. I didn’t need boots, just a heavier material. This does the trick. They’re not as light and soft, but when the canvas gets wet, my feet will be dry. They look to be perfectly well made. The red is a great shade and, funny, flat and wide as they are, my friends admire them and have asked where they can get them for themselves. One slightly confusing thing was in the Amazon website listing. I chose a size 10 1/2, but when I went to checkout it was listed as size 11. Fortunately, I saw the number 42 listed, and I know that to be my size. I tried them on as soon as they arrived, and, happily, it was a perfect fit. I don’t know why the size was listed as 11, but if that happens to you, ignore it.

Awesome!
These are great. Great first barefoot shoe, it’s affordable and very comfortable. Literally feels like I’m not wearing anything, I’ve literally laid on the couch forgetting I was even wearing shoes. 10/10! Super flexible and it was true to size. Shipped insanely quickly too. They squeak like basketball so I’m guessing they’re slip resistant. Love, highly recommend.

Thin but comfortable
I wear the heck out of these shoes they're truly wide and made out of canvas, they do have a little bit of grip on the soles but definitely not slip resistant. They don't have as much padding as other wide shoes but they're still comfty just not as cushioned. Not overly clown looking either that was a fear of mine amd of you already have a little bit of bunions forming it's wide enough to not push on the sides of your feet like another brand pair I have. I would definitely recommend these.

Gonna get another pair!
I purchased these shoes in 2023 in preparation for a trip to Florida. I did not have time to break them in before my trip, but found that it was not necessary. They were ready to wear out of the box. My ideal shoe size is a 10.5 wide. Most designers and manufacturers stop making half sizes after 8.5 or 9.5 and also if they offer a wide width size, in my opinion they are not attractive shoes, so I was happy to find these. I needed a lightweight, simple tennis shoe to hold up against the egregious amount of walking I was going to be doing all over Orlando, Florida for a week, as well as hold up to the weather and be comfortable, supportive, and breathable enough to not cause leg fatigue, blisters, or other such irritations. These shoes really met and exceeded my expectations. They were easy to pack and super comfy the whole week I was in Orlando. The wide width of the toe box took a day or two to get used to as it seemed to be a little wider than what I was used to in a standard mass produced wide width. I felt like I was wearing clown shoes the first couple of days. I did not seem to suffer from any foot, heel, knee, or hip pain as I usually tend to. These shoes are simple and not clunky. I did not mind the thinner soles. I did not mind that there was no physical arch support because the width of the toe box allows your foot to lay more naturally and therefore you are walking more naturally and the harness of the shoe hugs the middle section of your foot when snuggly tied to help give support. I am definitely going to get another pair of these tennis shoes as summer is just around the corner. These shoes paired incredibly well with the Whisper Deer No Show Line Socks that I also purchased specifically for this trip. They complimented each other wonderfully. As I continue to wear these shoes throughout the year, I find that the quality has held up too, no pulling of the rubber trim from the canvas, no fraying of the laces or the lace holes. These have been really great tennis shoes.

Barefooter of 10+ years Approved
Okayyyyy y’all. I’m very picky. I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes and barefoot sandals for over 10 years. I’ve tried the different brands of well known barefoot shoes in the past. I’ve been needing to get a new pair lately and I did get a pair recently by a different brand here on Amazon and they were super stiff and bulky. I got rid of them. Decided to try these.. LOVE THEM! I’ve only worn them around the house, I have yet to take them out for a long walk. We’ll see how that goes but I’m sure it’ll be great from the way they feel so far. They seem very well-made and especially at their price point, it’s a great deal! I hope they keep it that way because I plan on coming back for more of this brand’s shoes, and at this price point you get two for the price of one of the other well-known barefoot shoe brands. I don’t understand what other people are talking about in terms of the look of them. If you’re used to barefoot shoes, this is typical (the wider toe box). And I actually find these particular ones appealing in looks, they’re very cute. They’re flexible, light, and true to the barefoot feel. The outer sole rubber feels like it has great grip. The only thing I do want you to take into consideration is to opt for the wide, even if you’re usually not a wide size. My feet aren’t wide technically (they’re not narrow either) but I opted for wide and I think that’s what’s contributing to adequate room in the toes and that proper barefoot feeling. If you do have a wide foot, unless it’s super wide, maybe still give it (this wide size) a go and see how it feels. If you have feet on the narrower side, then their regular sizes will probably be just fine.

White (Faux) Leather is Not White
The white canvas + (faux) leather shoe is shown with white canvas and matching white leather. The white (faux) leather is cream, not even close to the white, and contrasts with the white canvas. I have other Whitin shoes, but this one is a miss. The shoes are comfortable and would be great if the colors actually matched and looked like the pictures.

Mostly Love
I love the look and fit of this shoe, but the canvas at the top of the laces adjacent to the tongue started to wear in about 3-4 months.I guess that's what you get with a cheaper barefoot shoe. But I will likely but them again when they're worn past the point of being able to wear them. Currently the wear is just cosmetic.

Very comfortable.
Very comfortable. Practical use in the gym especially if you are carrying heavy weights. It is just like being barefooted when doing dead lifts. Co gym workers loved the color. It's wide width keeps your toes relaxed even when standing for a long time.

Very similar to Splay Athletic's shoes (except for these not being flat)
Quality seems good, and I don't think these look that weird irl. I wish I went like half a size up though. I'm a 6.5 in almost all shoes, and the 7's cause my big toe to touch the front of these a bit. Still comfortable though, so not returning
