I have an 18 ft swim spa, been using chlorine for years until I found out about your product. Best stuff EVER!!! No oder at all!! Keeps water crystal clear with the silver nitrate I put in my filter. I am an older man and my women are my age or close. This product does not affect their died hair like chlorine!

I had to write an update to this review. After my grandson broke the top open, we were able to add this shock to the spa. I am pleased to say that my spa is sparkling clean! No chlorine! Five stars for the product. One star for packaging!I would love to comment how effective this non-chlorine shock treatment is for my spa, but how the hell do you open the package? I have tried it, my 40-year-old daughter has tried opening it, now my 15-year-old grandson is trying. None of us are having any luck opening this thing. I think it was sealed with glue!

This is my routine stress treatment that I've used in my hot tub for over 3 years. I add it after every session, and it works well. However, to achieve good results, you need to understand how it works. This chemical is very effective at tackling pollutants in the tub, but its effect lasts for a very short period of time. This is by design; otherwise, you wouldn't be able to enter the water the next day. So, when adding it to your tub, use the right dosage! Too little won't have much effect, and too much will waste the product. Read the instructions and know your hot tub.

The product itself works well in our hot tub, however, this is my second time ordering and, as other reviewers have stated, this is well beyond challenging to get the lid off! I’ve had to destroy the lid both times to get to the actual shock. I hope they fix the packaging so I can continue using.

I was using this from my local pool supply store, but the drive was a pain. This cost a bit less and was delivered quickly. I use it with my 800gal hot tub 1x every week. For the measurement it's just easier to use the cap (fill a medium mound in cap) as it's hard to get the measuring spoon into bottle.

Maybe you think that in order to sanitize your Hot Tub, Chlorine is the important thing. Think twice, because the combination of these two are extremely required. Non-Chlorine and Chlorine will make the trick of clean and clear water.

Still waiting to see how well the product works, but this review is simply to echo what others have said about the lid being impossible to remove following the instructions. Even once the red locking mechanism is pulled up, the lid doesn’t budge at all. Unfortunately prying the lid off damages it permanently, so it will no longer seal. I inspected the threads after prying it off and it looks like maybe it’s supposed to be removed in the opposite direction (clockwise)? If so, the instructions are incorrect as the lid says to “⬅️Open” and “Close➡️”

Despite using less than recommended, this stuff smells so strong! Wouldn’t buy again. The smell lingers for days. Concerning.
