HS-2 HS2 Original Heil Sound Hand Switch for PTT

Well constructed. Handy length.

I love the feel of this switch in my hand and the mechanism works great. The cord, strain relief and plug are top notch. Just as I expected from Heil. My only regret is waiting so long before I purchased one.

Works as advertised. The build is typical Heil workmanship, meaning a great build with heavy duty connections and cable. The cable is very long (I'm not sure of the length but it appears to be around 6 feet or so) so you shouldn't have any trouble connecting it to whatever rig in your shack you choose. The trigger has just enough resistance to prevent keying accidentally when picking it up but not so much that it causes a strain in using it. I've used it for a few hours straight and encountered no discomfort issues.

This mic switch is very well made, that is, solid in your hand. The spring on the cable that goes into it is strong and lengthy. The actuation is a solid 'click. As usual, Bob Heid and his crew have a great product.

My only regret is that this switch does not have circuitry to allow its use with an amplifier.

Connections are quality, hevy duty Heil cord, switch has a nice snap when activating and seems to be well made. Overall a bit light, and feels like the body material is cheap and could eventually break. So far it works great.

This Ptt switch is rugged and built to last for a long time.The trigger reminds me of my 9mm.Money well spent!
