Check the bearings before you ride them
My wheels came assembled (with the spacer and the bearings already installed) so I assumed they were properly lubed and put them on a board and rode them only for them to make screeching noises. Then I remembered that the reason bearings come in tubes or wrapped in oil paper is because as soon as you open them and expose them to the elements they start degrading. These bearings were installed who knows how long ago so any lubricant has long since evaporated or been washed away by a rogue wave in the Pacific somewhere. If you don't already have one, I command you to go buy a Bones bearing cleaning kit and some isopropyl alcohol to put in it, along with some Bones speed cream (it's just oil, but sPeCiAl) for afterwards. Watch a video on YouTube for details, but just know that there's some maintenance involved and you can't count on a company to ensure your own safety.

Sticky out of the box
This is a coreless wheel with a very soft durometer. They are perfect for cruising and carving, but I think they are too soft if you do aggressive downhill, and I would not recommend them if you are learning to do slides! The great thing about these is that they are a CUT wheel...the surface that contacts the road has been milled. That means that there is no mold-release compound or slick shiny texture on the tire of the wheel. You can slap them on your deck and be carving right away, with no slippy break-in time. One of the drawbacks of soft wheels is that they can chip at the corners, but these have chamfers that will minimize chunk-out damage and provide a nice predictable feel for breakaway. I rolled down to the bowl after I put these on, and they were great for the slick cement in the skatepark. The bearings that were supplied are pretty nice, but I can't comment on their durability. If I had one beef about these wheels, it's that the graphics are flat decals applied to a compound surface, so there are tiny wrinkles radially. The wrinkled bits wear off as soon as the face of the wheel rubs a surface, and the graphics end up looking a bit crap.Fantastic value for anyone wanting to try a softer, slimier wheel, or for skateparks and cruising in areas with rougher roads. I'd like to try these in a 90mm.

Quality soft duro longboard wheels
These Lollipop boardwalk wheels are an unbeatable value, including wheels, bearings, spacers and even speed rings. Understandably, I had my doubts about how the overall quality would be..First impression: The wheels come in a nice box, clearly labeled - inside you find 4 nice white urethane wheels with a cool retro "rainbow stripe" style graphic - which I really like. Then you find two ziplock bags with bearings, spacers, and speed rings (enough for 2 wheels per bag). The bearings appear of good quality, but the spacers are of a design I'm not familiar with. Also the spacers are so lightweight they must be made of aluminum? In the past I've used bearing with steel spacers, or built in spacers - but this is my first with an aluminum spacer of this shape (I'll give it a try).Assembly: I installed the wheels on my drop thru, it probably took me 5 minutes from start to finish. The bearings/spacers seemed to fit the wheels without any major issues (it was a sung fit, but they do fit).Performance: The wheels roll reasonably fast, the bearings are quiet and functional. They were great for cruising around, they had a good amount of rebound, and they held their own even over rough and uneven terrain. I even accidentally hit a couple rocks, and the wheels absorbed the impact - the rock went flying instead of me.As for sliding, I only tried a couple of small speed checks, but the wheels kicked out surprisingly well. I didn't spend a lot of time sliding them, as I didn't feel like that was their specific use case.Overall: Recommended as an affordable cruiser wheel and if I find that they are especially great for sliding, I will update this review with additional details/examples. 4-stars!

These are great!
I can’t wait to pop these onto my board and start with a new fresh pair! They have exactly 7 cm wide worth of contact and are textured to be grippy making them ideal for riding up and down city sidewalks, streets and boardwalks. The rubber of the wheels is pretty hard so I expect them to last a while and the rounded edges are good for pumping. These wheels will take longer to get up to speed and require more to push in comparison to some thinner options. However, if you are looking to cruise and make long distance rides you want a thicker or wider wheel such as this. As for tricks the wheels are pretty hard so if you’re looking to show off these can be a good starter.

Can't find a long enough truck axle to accommodate this complete setup, but the wheels are great
Maybe I just happen to have 3 skateboards/longboards that have short truck axles or maybe I am somehow incorrectly assembling this set. It comes with 4 speed washers, 8 bearings, 4 spacers, and 4 wheels, which is a complete setup. When I install the washer, a bearing, the spacer, another bearing, and the final speed washer on the axel, there's no thread on the axel showing and thus I can't screw the nut on and complete installation. Seriously, I tried it on all of my boards and it's a no go. So, I left the speed washers and spacers out, and just used the included bearings, and the setup works great. If the bearings could be pushed farther into the wheels, I think it would help. I really jammed them in as far as they could go, but their positioning takes up so much room. Anyway, using just the wheels and bearings from this set, I enjoyed a comfy ride. Since I plan on using them just for cruising, I don't really need the spacers anyway. Keep this in mind if you're debating between this set and the other set they sell that is just the wheels to determine if you'll get your money's worth by spending the extra amount for components that you may or may not need or that may or may not fit on your rig. Also, the white wheels get dirty after the first ride, which you're probably expecting as I was. But the rainbow retro look is fun and cool.
