House of Silk Flowers Artificial Triple-stem Phalaenopsis Orchid Arrangement Lime Green

Normally I don't review products, but I felt compelled to write a detailed review because my impression of the product is slightly different from other reviewers. I also want to mention that I'm extremely picky about artificial plants in general.PROS:1) Excellent service. I ordered on Tuesday night and received the product by noon on Saturday. As others have mentioned, the product was well packed and came in a 3-foot box.2) The black vase is simple and lovely.3) The leaves looked better than expected, with less yellow highlights than pictured in the product images which gives it a more natural look. They also have wiring underneath so you can gently bend them to get the position that you want.4) The type of fabric used for the flower petals is nice, with a kind of dull sheen that resembles real orchid petals.5) The size of blossoms were bigger than expected, with the largest measuring about 4.25"x 3.5".6) From a distance of 1.5 meters or farther, the lavender orchid arrangement does look real.CONS:1) From a distance of less than 1.5 meters, the orchid arrangement does NOT look real.2) At a close distance, glue is visible in many areas: the underside of the petals, where the petals connect to the pouch/lip, where the column connects to the lip, and where the blossom connects to the stem. At times, the glue is stringy, thick, and rather gloopy. Although I understand that clear glue is needed to structure the petals and lip, I think more care could have been taken when applying the glue and removing any excess.3) The dark spots/freckles on the petals sometimes does not look realistic even from a distance.4) Many of the petals had tiny loose threads (presumably resulting from the cutting of the fabric into petal shapes).5) The buds and stems at close range look artificial due to the coloring and the plastic lining that emanates from the structures.The good news is that I was able to fix some of the problems by trimming the loose thread with scissors (being mindful to follow the contours of the petal), gently removing/cutting excess glue, and carefully rotating some of the blossoms at the point where they connect to the stem so that the gluey underside is less visible.Bottom line: If you want an orchid arrangement that is pretty nice and are on a budget, you should definitely buy this. For the comparatively low price of $40, this is a great deal! Be weary of similar products that are $10-30 more, but are not as natural-looking.However, if you want a superior artificial orchid arrangement that looks real close up and without any visible glue, they tend to be in the $100-200 range. I have seen some excellent arrangements, but can't afford them as I'm currently a student.

I purchased this artificial orchid 2 years ago, I got the green orchid one for the office and everybody thinks it was real and when they found out it's not, they were amazed with the real life quality of the plant. One of my coworker even mistakenly watered it. Last month, I purchased another one, this orange orchid this time and was excited to receive it but I was a little disappointed when I opened the box, I could easily see some dried glue showing on some parts of the stems and behind the flowers. I still got compliments how nice the orchid though, and none of my friends noticed that it was not a real plant and never told anyone it's fake :D. My husband who is not a fan of fake plants thinks its beautiful and I did a good job purchasing an artificial that is real life looking. Overall, I still want to get more maybe for a gift to some friends.

I am pleasantly surprised how big these orchids are! It is bigger than thought it would be. It is a substantial arrangement and looks even better in person than in the pictures online. I got the purple, and it is a deep, dark purple. The base is solid and the whole arrangement looks quality, not cheap. We get so many compliments on these, and our guests legitimately can't tell whether they are real or fake. I'm not an expert on flowers or anything, but I can't tell that these are fake unless I get really close up. I was concerned that they would be damaged during shipment due to the fragility of artificial flowers, but they were packaged extremely well and everything arrived in perfect condition. Overall I am very pleased!

Color much darker then in picture, more like a burnt orange color, disappointing. Very well packed (even though the box was crushed up), fast shipping. The base and leaves look very nice, flowers look fake. Something I would expect to see in a law office or something. The way it was packed, returns are near impossible, no idea the cost of it all. I'm going to sit with it for a few days and if I can't adjust to it I may remove the flowers and use the bottom portion with other flowers. For the price....not into it.

I was looking for a nice artificial orchid for my office and finding that prices were 3 to 5 times the cost of this one from Jouse of Silk Flowers. Not wanting to spend a lot of money, I bought this one and am so happy I did! It arrivwd well packaged and undamaged. The base is a nice black ceramic with realistic looking moss and orchid leaves. Mine came as advertised with three stalks full of flowers in different stages of bloom. The color is rich and vibrant and realistic from a short distance. Would recommend!

It looks okay, not as nice as other artificial flowers I've seen, you can tell these are fake once you get a couple feet from them, I was hoping they were like ones I saw in a store locally, but those were $150, but looked a lot more real, but I guess you get what you pay for. Also, they are not as tall as I thought they would be, they said 24" but that must be if you have the flowers go stright up instead of curved, because from the top to bottom as shown in the picture is 16".I have about 7 real Phalaenopsis and they are all 30", so this being half the size adds to its fakeness. The picture looks nicer than the actual product.

I bought this for a centerpiece for an Asian themed party I hosted for 50 people. It came packed very well- in fact almost too well because I think I put a couple scratches on the black vase when I took it out. It was too late to contact the seller to exchange so I went ahead and used it and it was not noticeable at all. It is a beautiful flower arrangement and I would order from the seller again. The one thing I would advise anyone who buys this is to be very, very careful unpacking it from the box it comes in- like I mentioned it is very well packed ( as well it should be) and if you are not very careful you may cause damage, but that said, it is a beautiful product!
