I have an amateur interest in art and this book provides an interesting perspective on colour. Really interesting and beautifully illustrated.

I love this book! Such an easy read. Interest history of colour. A beautifully presented full colour book is a joy to dip into. I would recommend for curious adults and older children alike!

I am still reading this book, and finding it fascinating. I thought at first it was written for children, but realised that it is simply the non academic style of writing. The way the work of the Getty Museum on colour gives further insight into the subject. Excellent.

I have worked with colour imaging most of my adult life, and can recommend this book whole heartedly. Victoria is a brilliant storyteller, and brings a new dimension to the magic of pigments, dyes, inks and colours.
