Bought this for brush-cutting and herbicide spraying in Hawaii. It works pretty well, once you get the fit right. The nose clip is the trip. Get it right and the rest of the mask conforms well. Breathing is easy and not labored at all, like some of the typical "pollen masks" or surgical type masks. It is very lightweight, so easily beats the typical respirators you find for comfort.

This wouldn't filter anything, especially not work fumes/dust. Sorry, not sorry.

Even once you get this mask fitted to your face (which is very difficult) and strap it on hard enough to mark your skin, you will still smell yard clippings and other outdoor particles, meaning the filter function just isn't working.

Works great if your face fits it well. Mine doesnt make a good enough seal around my face so by the end of the day i still have a mouth full of dust but i dont have to clean my mouth out as much.

When you sweat it does get a tad uncomfortable and hard to replace the filter
