City Anti Pollution Dust Mask With Activated Carbon Air Filter & Adjustable Strap for Outdoor Cycling Running

The mask just about works, for the price you can't really expect much more. the front of the mask tends to slide down my face unless I adjust the metal nose clip, this can be a bit uncomfortable sometimes. Other than this, it does the job and helps with London pollution.Now for the customer service, the attachment/clip that holds the mask and the filters together recently fell off mid ride, so I am now unable to use it at all. It seems that the seller is unwilling (or not bothered) to help me with this. All I need is a replacement adjuster/clip. I have sent three messages so far with no response....if you're interested in this mask, maybe find someone else - there's plenty of sellers out there selling similar masks.Personally, I'll be paying a bit more for a better mask from a seller that is willing to add a bit of after care if needed.

I didn't believe previous reviews. When stationary breathing is easy, and mask comfortable. Cycling slowly it's the same. However once you start to exert yourself and breath heavily it's like you've got a pillow to the face. Effectively your heaving in air to breath. It ends up working against you. However it looks good feels good and if your not exerting yourself can be effective, otherwise I wouldn't recommend for cycling or running or anything where deep breathing is required. Condensation and water into your beard and a running nose are likely scenarios. Which is nothing cry about.

I bought this for cycling. For the first two trips (a short commute each way to work, probably 30 mins combined) there was a bit of a chemical taste, I think that's from the mask not the filter so I don't expect it to be a problem again. But it was a bit unpleasant that first time :( Maybe washing or airing before first use would have helped? Since then it's fine in that regard. It took a few days to get used to wearing it, as you do end up breathing differently with it there: now I've got used to biking open-mouthed it's fine. The big win is that I don't taste every smokey exhaust, bus, truck, etc that comes past me anymore :o)

The original filter on the mask had the exhaust holes closer to one edge of the filter and worked very well, comfortably and good seal. The replacement filters have the holes in the centre of the filter therfore do not fit the neoprene mask as per design, no longer comfortably to wear and worst do not have an effective seal. I wear glasses and now when stationary the glasses fog up. did not have this problem with the original filter

A lot comfier than the large dust masks I use on the building site, I bought to use in my woodworking workshop along with a built in dust extraction unit. Comes with a replacement filter. Perfect for me

Worked fine for a couple of weeks, then fell apart on my cycle home. One of the plastic lugs (which are quite flimsy) that hold the two layers together fell off, thus rendering the rest of the product useless. Shame, as will have to buy a new one now.

I cycle every day and In summer with the flys and other things flying about needed something this did the job. Hard to get use to and get some funny looks but it's well worth every penny still using it now. Keeps out all the road crap and let's you breath better.

It is alright. It had smell in the beginning and was difficult to breath, but got used to in couple of days. Very easy to fit on the face and holds firmly.

It's rubbish a waste of money

Rubbish quality. The plastic connector connecting the filter to the mask disappeared after wearing it only a few times.

Was pretty good until it fell apart? Mid-cycle one of the valves flew off, which was upsetting.

Good product, but the one size fits all approach is questionable. Smaller sizes, at least for the neck band, should be available for better fit.

Wear this everywhere - not only for its anti-pollution properties but also to protect my (sensitive) face from the cold. It is comfortable and easy to breath through..
