Good quality
Was more than enough to use in my sound treatment of wires on my vehicle. Used on trunk wires and entire cabin and had spare

Good for small projects
Need to quiet a printer, the area in a laundry room where the dryer is or other small area, then this roll of rubber foam works well. It's got great adhesive and will attach to anything, but be sure you know where you want it placed. But it's not a great choice for soundproofing a whole room. It's super expensive per SQ ft and there are other options that work better for that. But there also uses where this is exactly what you need.

Closed cell foam with skinned surface, aggressive adhesive
I got this to make flat gaskets to seal the lid of a dust collector for my shop. I had used strips of foam weather seal before, but the forced curvature of the strips inside the lid of the dust collector would cause them to peel away after awhile. I laid this material out onto a worktable and drew arcs on the paper backing and then cut the gasket with scissors. This works perfectly for my needs as a gasket material. Some reviewers commented that this material doesn't like to lay flat. I can confirm that, but if you let it sit on a table concave side down overnight with some weights on the ends it will flatten enough to cut the material to your final shape. The first pic is after having laid flat overnight. The second pic is fifteen minutes later, so the material definitely has a bit of memory. The backing paper is not very tough. You can draw on it but the pencil on my compass punctured the backing several times despite using a light touch. The rubber material itself appears to be a relatively soft closed cell EPDM foam with a smooth skinned face on both sides. The adhesive is aggressive. Other reviewers have commented, and I can confirm, that you will destroy the material trying to peel it off if you don't get it stuck down right the first time. The material is a bit thinner than 1/8" so it's either 3mm or maybe just compresssed from packaging.

Effective Soundproof but Be Careful Applying This
I got this foam for soundproofing purposes and it does that job very effectively. Do be aware not to take off the backing of this foam before you're ready to apply it to where you would like to, because the adhesive easily sticks to things, including your hands, and it's very aggressive. It's also easy to accidentally crease or fold this and end up sticking it to itself. This also came rolled up and it was hard to try to get it to flatten out, but if you're applying this to a flat surface that shouldn't be an issue considering the adhesive has an iron grip. I recommend peeling back the backing on this as you go and flattening it as you go to avoid these issues. This overall is great quality and you definitely won't have to worry about this not sticking or coming off. I'd recommend having some goo gone handy to help remove the adhesive if it gets on your hands or anywhere you don't want it to be.

Impressive vibration dampening and sound proofing extremely adhesive sheet.
Exactly as my title says this foam rubber sheet does a great job at dampening vibrations from heavy appliances and electronics as well as provides some soundproofing when placed properly. I used this for my refrigerator which was very noisy every time the condenser kicked in. I cut four large squares out of it to place under the feet of the refrigerator. The adhesive backing was excellent, providing strong grip to the floor so that the refrigerator didn't shift or pull them up when driven over it. I used the rest of the sheet at the back and sides of the refrigerator in it's wooden enclosure which really reduced vibration noise coming through the wall and side panels. Again the strong adhesive side clings quickly and securely to the surface you apply it to, so make sure to have your mark in place because you wont be able to remove it once positioned. Other places I placed this are underneath my portable air conditioners and inside their housings, and under my air purifier, also my NAS device which buzzes with spinning hard drives all day, this really cuts down on the vibrations.

Multipurpose Foam Sheet
Foam sheet came rolled in a plastic shrink wrap bag, but wasn't too tightly rolled so my corners weren't as compressed as others were in previous reviews. The foam sheet feels dense and the backing was easy to peel off to place. I used it to reduce my refrigerator from vibrating as well as doing some sound isolation which helped muffle the sound and improve the sound atmosphere of my home. I feel like removing it may prove challenging as it will likely fall apart, but apart from that I had no issues cutting and placing it.

Didn't work for me, but may for you
I bought this (1/2 inch and 1/8 inch) foam to make equipment liners for cases to hold sensitive test equipment. I thought it might be a substitute for cuttable foam in pelican cases. It's not.The first cut with a razor knife is clean, but the second cut is ragged due to dulling of the blade. The foam is shipped rolled tightly. When unrolled and pressed flat for days, the curving is still there. This foam needs to be shipped flat. The imparted curve keeps this from being a useful product for me.However, as far as sound deadening or insulation, the 1/8 inch foam is actually quite good. Several sheets worth over the walls quiets a room nicely. It also acts as a padding for equipment when sharp edges might damage a table surface.
