I am a very hairy male and was tired of trimming and/or plucking the hairs in my ears. Got the WOWAX and works perfectly. I did some things that will not be endorsed or approved by seller and/or manufacturer but you can see it in the photos below. Since I was going to use a minimal amount of wax, covered the heating tray with aluminum foil and leaned the warmer in order for the wax to be melted. It took 10 mins at 165 degrees and the was was ready to be applied. Highly recommended for hairs in the ears and in other parts of your body; above eyebrows, mustache, etc.

I’m not one to usually write reviews but I need to for this. The wax warmer itself is nice, heats up quickly. But the beads are just awful. It’s so stringy and hardens too fast. And if you actually manage to get a nice layer on your skin, it doesn’t take much off. Overall a little disappointed, but I’ll juat buy different wax beads.

This is a small salon quality wax warmer that comes with two types of hard wax for a great price! It was easy to use, the hard wax beads made portioning for single use super easy & it heated up the wax in no time! The only thing I would say was missing were instructions. I’ve been a cosmetologist for years so I know the ins & outs of waxing. Temperature of wax, types of wax needed for types of hair, direction of application, etc. but this set doesn’t come with any kind of education on waxing nor safty info as far as safe working temperatures for wax as this little wax warmer can go all the way up to 225℉ while a safe waxing temperature is around 104℉. It also didn’t include information on the difference in the hard wax beads that they provided. They DO however provide this information on the Amazon listing, just not in the order itself.So overall, AWESOME product! I just wish they included all of the information IN the package not just on the listing!

Before purchasing this product I was really scared because I didn't want to burn myself. So I watched a few youtube tutorials ( which I highly recommend) and I purchased it. Everything came as described, everything was perfectly packaged. It does take a few tries to get us to it, I would recommend taking your time and using a mirror.

I thought once I bought this it would work great and it did but... the wax inside when I used it i broke out into a rash and it still hasn't gone away I would love to be able to use more wax but now im scared too and the product had trouble with the heating and cooling because youd give it 30 mins or more to cool and it would still feel hot to the touch.

Verified PurchaseNice compact unit. The wax heats up quick. It has multiple waxing beads to choose from with their own unique qualities. The wax heats up well but it is pretty painful compared to going to a professional. I may just need more practice. I like being able to control how much I use tho.

Where should I begin? After seeing all the rave (5 star, as of this review) reviews, I thought it would be a decent warmer. It really isn't. This is my first experience with an electric warmer at home, so I really didn't know what to expect. First of all, it took longer than the stated 30 minutes for one bag of the beans to melt completely. I would estimate that they measure, maybe, a half inch, so it's not that there's a ton of wax to be melted. This was with my temperature starting off at the 167 that the directions indicated. After about 40 minutes, with three quarters of the beads melted, and the wax barely warm, I cranked it up to 180. Within about ten more minutes, everything was melted, but, honestly, the wax STILL didn't feel warm enough (testing on the back of my hand). I put it up to about 190. After another ten or so minutes (gosh, I'm glad I had the time to do this!), I figured I'd go for it (testing it again). The heat of the wax felt comparable to the salon and I applied it to my upper lip. I let it harden, pulled it off, annnnnddd...lots of hair still left:( ~ ended up plucking. I didn't even bother trying it on my eyebrows.I'm not a novice at waxing, in a salon or in my home ~ but this IS the first time I've purchased an electric warmer. I really wasn't sure what to expect, but certainly more of a quality waxing job than I got! Now, I'm not sure if it's the quality of the wax beans, or the unit itself. I might just purchase a different type of wax and try the warmer that way. That being said, this is why I gave it two stars instead of one. If I find that I get better results with a different wax, I'll amend my review.Another thing should be noted ~ one package of beans is black currant, the other is lavender. They are most certainly those colors, however, there is no scent (other than wax) to either one.

The wax warmer is cool. I was only disappointed that it didnt come with any directions as to how high the temps needed to be to warm the wax or how long it took. Also, I thought taking off the wax wasnt supposed to hurt but it does and didnt take off all the hair in one swipe.

While on quarantine, it's been hard to get any self care done so I decided to do it myself! After reading a bunch of reviews, I finally decided to purchase this wax warmer and it's been the best decision I've made so far. I've learned out to wax myself (the bikini area took a couple of tries but now I'm a pro!). I don't think I'll ever go back to get my body waxed, I can finally save hundreds!

Seems to take a long time for the wax to melt! Other than that it works well

The wax warmer takes roughly half an hour to heat up on high. The wax beans that come with the warmer smells like chemicals, which is highly off-putting. The wax beans brand is unknown, which makes me think after using it that the wax is cheap overall. I found that I had to apply a pretty thick layer of wax to be able to remove the wax strip once hardened.

I LIKE THIS WAX WARMER IT IS VERY CONVENIENT TO USE

Useless product. I bought it in April but didn't use it up until July. Guess what, it didn't work at all.I kept waiting for it to heat for 40 min, what I see is, even after this long it didn't heat up. Now I am stuck with it. I can't return it or can get a refund.
