I use 2 sets at the pool steps/deck area to get out of the pool as I have no railings.I also drape towels on them to dry. VERY helpful and weather proof.

I believe this product is exactly what I expected. For plastic, its pretty sturdy even if you have a strong and well developed little one such as myself who at 7 months was already trying to climb on furniture. Thank goodness I did my due diligence and read published scientific journal articles such as the study on aluminum adjuvants causing motor neron death from vaccinations. The science isnt settled folks, keep reading and ask the hard questions! I highly recommend this product. My son outgrew it pretty quickly but its serves multiple purposes in our household. For references to many published peer reviewed studies on vaccinations I strongly reccomend veiwing the a to z list of research on learntherisk.org thats learn the risk dot org or if your too skeptical to look at a grassroots non profit based website, I also suggest the site called physicians for informed consent where scientific research is outlined and supported in the medical community and highlights such concers as the increased risk of siezure disorders with the mmr vaccine. Keep calm and nerd out of science!

Overall it is a great product. I use this extra panel section on my North States superyard play yard on the foam mat panels. My grandson managed to climb on top of an activity table today and grab the top of the gate and it moved. Most sides are very sturdy and when he stands and holds on to them stays sturdy. But with today's events it did move the gate and needed to be placed again in a more sturdy formation.I still like the product but wonder if a more thick wall would have been better for my extremely active grandson. My daughter jumped out of her baby bed at 13 months and her nephew seems to be following in her footsteps. I bought this for its taller height because of that. My word of advice is don't let climbers have toys in the play yard they can use to jump ship, so to speak.

A friend passed her 6-panel superyard down to me and I started using it when my infant was about 7 months old (crawling, starting to pull up). It was worth it to add the extra 2 panels to double the play area, and now I even have space to hang out inside with the little one. It was a little scary early on when baby would pull up on the gate to standing position and I'd see the panels start to wobble, but it's never toppled over. Snapping the pieces together gets a little nerve-wracking because the meaty part of my palm got pinched once, so definitely assemble it without any children or pets nearby.

Highly recommended if you want a play pen where you wont be afraid it will collapse on them. He's almost 25 pounds and he always pulls on the sides to stand up. It barely moves and it doesn't bend when he pulls up to stand up. From 6 panels to 8 panels makes a big difference because now my wife, myself, my older son, and my infant can all fit comfortably.

I bought these panels to add to the 6 panels that I already had at home. I have 1 year old twins who started to walk, and the 6 panels weren't giving them enough space to move around. The 2 extra panels make such a difference! I wish I would've bought the 8 panels gate from the beginning because I would've saved a little money, but I'm glad I have the option of buying 2 panels to add as opposed to the full gate. It is not sturdy when they are leaning on it, but that isn't a big deal for me because my boys are walking and have good balance. I wouldn't recommend it for a baby that is learning to walk and uses the gate to hold themselves up, because it doesn't give them any support.

Got this as a add in to a 6 panel set. So in total the play area is now 8 panels. Wanted to have it configured as a square, however having 2 panels straight inline is very flimsy and not sturdy. Still a very good product and will suggest to others, just be sure to keep some round shape to it. This is used everyday with our 1+ year old, she is very tall and solid, 85+ percentiles on metrics. This product is well worth the money.

I wish I had one of these pens when my kids were little. I purchased the pen originally for my granddaughter who is now 5+. Now my grandson is using it and we added 2 panels to enlarge it. I would highly recommend this item to all parents of young children. When needed it gives the kids a safe area to play in and parents get to relax for a time or get something done. Ours is 8 panels and gives the children good room to play with their toys.

We thought we were going to need both the two extension pieces but ended up only needing one! Attaches to the other gate easily. Worth the purchase.
