100% Pure Edible Silver Leaf for Decorating Food and Beverage (80x80 mm : 25 sheets)

I wanted to put an edible mirror on a Snow White cake I was making, so I needed to find food-grade, genuine silver leaf sheets for the back of the mirror. There were other brands that were available, but I took a chance on this one because the price was $1 to $2 lower than the others, the size was perfect for what I needed, and, although there were only a few reviews of this product, they were all 5 stars. I was very happy with the way the mirror looked once I poured the sugar on top and made the fondant frame, however I deducted one star from my review because of how hard these sheets were to handle. I wasted 4 sheets because they tore or didn't lay flat on the silpat. What would have made these much easier to handle was if they had been placed between sheets bound in a booklet, as several of the other brands were. Instead, these were in loose sheets. It was also hard to put them back in the protective cellophane that they came in. I would definitely still recommend these because of the price though, and how nice they looked.

Easy to access, few if any rips. Bought through Amazon warehouse for non food use, would love to get my grubby hands on seconds or factory rejects!! Beautiful color for any beginning lampworkers.
