Simple and effective
Not much to say other than it does the job. Have used it a couple times for my BioLite fire pit on top of my Trex deck and so far no issues at all.

Actually works!
Sounds stupid, but I wasn’t sure if this was legit. Works well, the deck under the mat and firpit doesn't even get warm. Definitely something to look at if you’re worried about using your firpit on your deck.

Burnt through on its first “proper” outing
I had high hopes for this but they were dashed when i put an eco candle on it and it burned through the mat and charred the ground underneath. Yes, it can cope with having the Firepit above it, but apparently not with items standing directly on it. Maybe the instructions say that. Either way, I am disappointed with this.
