High-quality & heavy torque wrench made in Germany. The mushroom head has a reversible bit insert for two-way wrenching. This differs, and I assume is stronger, than the flip-lever style on cheaper wrenches. You can also micro adjust the position of the drive bit by turning the blue screw on the mushroom head. The dial is easy to read and clearly shows the torque values vs the hard to read bars on a cheap wrench. When in Newton-meter scale, the secondary shows torque in half-step increments. You don't have this secondary dial when in foot-pounds. You can easily flip through between Nm and ft-lbs with the flip of a switch. The wrench makes a clearly felt snap and click sound when the target value is reached. The wrench includes a user manual, calibration certificate, and hard plastic case. I'm very happy with this purchase over the basic store brands. I really wish I bought a quality German tool like this years ago.

My experience deserves 1 star, but the torque wrench deserves 5. As others have said, I received a wrench with a broken factory seal. This is ludicrous. You don't buy a used torque wrench because its accuracy can be altered by how it's used and stored. Since you have no way of knowing how it was treated, you can't trust its accuracy.This is my second Gedore torque wrench which I bought because of my experience with my much smaller 1/4" drive. Both have reversible heads to maintain torque accuracy in one direction. This one is constructed extremely well and it functions just like my smaller wrench. I like that the locking mechanism pops out and stays out while you adjust the torque. Just snap it back in to lock your setting.What I loved so much about my 1/4" Gedore wrench is actually a bit of a nuisance on this wrench. The little window which displays your torque setting is perfect on my 1/4" wrench, but that's because it has such a small range. This wrench has so much range the the graduations on the chart very small and difficult to read. Granted, there's not much difference between 250 and 254 Nm, but I wish it were slightly easier to read.

Do maintenance without any hassle with the right tool for the job. Works the first time without any problems. Must have for anyone servicing his / her own bike.

Das reicht mir.Der Einstellmechanismus ist üblich und macht seinen Dienst. Der Pilzkopf ist nicht unverlierbar gestaltet worden. Er lässt sich nur durch die Betätigung des Kopfes lösen. Da hatte ich meine Gedenken, die ausgeräumt wurden.

Por un lado la ventanita que sale la escala tipo "regla" es muy pequeña y cuesta saber en que número estas y por otro lado la ventana que sale solo un número te permite un ajuste muy preciso. Por expresarlo con un ejemplo, diria que, una vez que sabes que estas en 60 N.m, ajustarla a 63 es muy fácil.La posibilidad de hacer aprietes a izquierdas es muy útil hoy en día para tantear a la hora de aflojar calentadores.

Sehr guter Drehmomentschlüssel. Die von manchen Rezensenten bemängelte schlechte Ablesbarkeit des Schlüssels kann ich nur bedingt nachvollziehen. Zwar ist die Beschriftung und die Skaleneinteilung auf der Hauptskala in der Tat etwas klein, da man aber über den Drehgriff in 1Nm-Schritten das Drehmoment einstellen kann, ist der eingestellte Wert immer sehr eindeutig und sehr gut abgrenzbar. Dem Schlüssel liegt ein zur eingravierten Seriennummer passendes detailliertes Prüfprotokoll bei. Die von der Norm geforderten Auslösegenauigkeit wird hier deutlich übertroffen.Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist, wie von einem echten (die Dremaster-Serie ist eine der Serien „Made in Germany“) Gedore Produkt zu erwarten ist, sehr gut. Die Kunststoffteile sind alle hochwertig und der Schlüssel fühlt sich wertig an.Leider wird der Drehmomentschlüssel in einer durchsichtigen Kunststoffbox geliefert. Leider begünstigt diese Box, dass das Klebesiegel beim Versand aufreißt, was einen schlechten Eindruck vermittelt. Zusätzlich eignet sich die Box nicht zur Aufbewahrung / zum sicheren Transport des Schlüssels, da Sie lediglich als Verkaufsdisplay geeignet ist und vermutlich keine allzu lange Lebensdauer besitzt. Hier würde ich mir (gerne auch als separat erhältliches Zubehörteil) eine stabile Kunststoffbox (vgl. Hazet Safe-Box oder auch jeder X-beliebige Baumarktschlüssel) wünschen.
