Robot Fish Water Activated, Swimming in Water with LED Light, Electric Bathtub Toys for Pets, Cats, Dogs (Golden+Purple)

My three year old who is reluctant to play with mechanical toys shows interest in these little robot fish. They have three tail speeds they cycle between. I have yet to remove the screw to replace the battery and hoping I can get it back together without breaking the water seal. So far several days on the original batteries. The cat has to touch one of two very small sensors on each side to wake the robot up when it cycles to quiet. This does not seem likely. When I want to wake it up I pull it out of the water and back in.Between my cat's playful times I set the fish aside to dry.

I gave the fish 5 stars, but knocked off one because of the batteries. They maintain for about 4 hours in total so you have to limit how long you use them in the water. My Maine Coon loves loves loves them. When the water drains (there isn't a tight seal in the bathroom sink) she will take it out and bring it to me.When I replaced the batteries I think I didn't get a good seal because the fish died after 2 minutes and when i checked the batteries they were wet. AFter I tried again and really paid attention to the seal they worked better.They give you 6 batteries. 3 sets for each fish. They come with batteries installed (2) then there are 2 more sets each. I've gone through them all.

The idea for this toy is good. The execution for the toy, not so much. It swam around for about a minute and broke. Light flashes but it just floats there not doing anything else. Tried changing the battery and still nothing. Save your money. Do not buy this.

These little fish flutter through the water with ease, but not for long. Each fish takes 2 button batteries, and each set of batteries lasts just 1, maybe 1.5 play sessions (30-40 minutes?). The package does include several sets of extra batteries, but I truly expected these to last longer than they do. I will be looking for a more efficient toy or perhaps a rechargeable one instead so I don't have to keep replacing batteries for these!

I got these as a gift for two of my grandchildren and they love them! Currently their favorite bath toys.

And they both work perfectly, my cat loves to fish them out of the sink / bowl.

My cat loves this toy! Two fish come with it and extra batteries! I thought that was nice. He loves playing with them.
