Decent stuff with only one minus - some of them will ever get back to original shape so its pretty good to take off a couple while buying, other than that You might run short and not cover planned surface.

A number of the tiles have not expanded to full capacity. So acoustic value is not up to the task.

These foam panels are a good price - for £25.99 you get 24 of them. However, even after leaving them out of their packaging and laid flat on a table in a single layer for 10 days, 4 of them never recovered and still have flat bits, as shown in one of my photos here. Luckily, they are easy to cut and my husband (who has a music studio) will cut the flat bits off and use the rest of each one to fill in smaller parts of the wall.In the other photo, you can see what they look like on the wall. He has made a pattern of them with some striped acoustic panels he already had, and they look awesome.Overall, he’s really pleased. The shape and material work well as sound treatment, and they are stylish too.

These sound panels do quite a good job and are quite good value. You get 24 panels, each 1' x 1' which means you get quite a good amount to be able to cover a whole wall.When they first arrived, they were vacuum packed so didn't look like you get many, I then opened them and there were 24 however they seemed very flat so I didn't think they would do much. I left them on the table however and the next day they had almost tripled in size. This gave me much more confidence in them. Each panel was thick and squishy with defined squares which I actually quite liked the look of.I installed them using some double-sided tape which might not be the most ideal way however it did the job and they look quite good when covering a wall. They do a nice job of reducing the echos in your room which dramatically improves recording quality over just a blank wall.Overall, I would definitely recommend them.

I wish this came with any information on the best adhesive to use or how tight to fit them to each other. I have just butted them up to each other and applied with a thickish wallpaper paste, simple to cut (I used a bread knife for a cleaner cut. Line) they have deadened the sound and actually look cool.

My husband has been wanting some acoustic panels for a while now.We have a home cinema and he’s a bit of a geek when it comes to Hifi, audio and all things cinema.I’ve always looked at them and probably like a lot of women thought ‘urgh’.The design of these panels though is really quite cool.They are described as mushroom shaped and that’s pretty accurate.They give a good textured effect on the wall, and I’m surprised now good they do look once they’re up.They are safe. They are flame retardant and do not have any chemical smell.They come vacuum packed and ‘fluff up’ quickly.The main purpose of acoustic panels is to remove any residual sound in your space.When installed in the room, the acoustic panels can absorb or diffuse sound. This is important in our room as it can reverberate in there.The panels are very easy to install and cut to size. My husband has used a type of adhesive to secure them.They look well finished and very cool, almost like a statement piece once up.They work very effectively. I am not a connoisseur of sound like my husband but I could tell the difference.Although we could probably do with some more, for now my husband is happy.In my opinion they are well made and good value for money and I would recommend them.I hope you find my review helpful. These panels are well made, and light but solid. Unlike some similar products, they don’t have an artificial smell. They would be very easy to mount on a wall. I’ve put them under various subwoofers in my house to reduce resonance; you keep the deep bass, but stop the floor vibrating. I’ve used the spare ones as a landing pad for my RC cars – not their purpose, but they work very well (and save buying something else).Great value.
