I've successfully used this USB-C hub with a newer Dell laptop which has a USB-C type connector for the power supply.The hub itself is well constructed and the case appears to be a combination of black metal (around the edge) and plastic (top and bottom). When connected to either power or the PC USB port it lights up with a dark blue backlight. For me, no additional drivers were installed - it just worked.I only use the HDMI connection to drive a 1920x1080 display for both business graphics and video playback, and it performs perfectly well in that scenario. I'm yet to see what happens with a 4K monitor.Alongside the input power connector, one side of the hub sports 3 USB3.0 USB-A sockets. I've plugged various peripherals, including the "standard" external keyboard and mouse, USB memory sticks, mobile phones and other devices into these sockets, and they've all worked flawlessly with each other.The SD and microSD card readers on the other side of the device provide a useful facility to be able to read and write these devices and speeds appear to be constrained only to those dictated by the card in use rather than the hub itself.All in all, I'm really pleased with the hub. My work takes me to various desks in various offices with a need to disconnect my laptop and take it into meetings, and then reconnect. Only having to connect the furniture on the desk (monitor, keyboard, mouse, power supply) to the hub at the start of the day - and from then on only having to worry about disconnecting and connecting a single plug during the day is, for me at least, a convenience that's worth the price of the hub.

Ordered this device to expand the number of inputs that I have available for my desktop PC (Windows 11 Pro) and my laptop (while travelling). All of the USB 3.0 slots worked fine, regardless of whether the device/cable attached was USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 specification. The only device that would not work with the unit was my old iPod Classic (USB 2.0). This works when connected directly to my PC but the system does not seem to find it when connected to the hub. Not really an issue for me but I just wanted to try all of my possible devices with the hub. The SD card and mini SD card slots worked fine and the transfer rate was impressive. The USB C slot also worked seemlessly and facilitated easy charging for my mobile phone and wireles headphones. All in all, a great product at a very reasonable price.

Based on previous purchase from the same manufacturer, I knew I can’t go wrong!This is a well built usb hub from quality materials instead of those cheap flimsy plastic once that unknown “brands” producing.100 watt power delivery was really important for me as my MacBook and Steam Deck only has a single usb-c connector. The two separate TF and SD card reader is a big plus. Unlike other products, this one can actually deliver the promised 4k@60hz and so the 100watt as well. Had a cheaper hub before, the nominal power delivery was not even matching half of what they advertised, and the 4k was only worked in 30hz.This a genuine product that you can relay on, it does deliver everything that promises. If you need to power your device through a hub like this, you really want something that is reliable and not going to brick your device, I know people who learned that the hard way.All my products from this company is nice built quality and reliable, I can only recommend them!
